I've spent a lot of time and money trying to find a perfect all-purpose flip flops, because I wear them all day all year: Enough padding and support for concrete or a store, enough traction for grass and camping, and non-slippy enough for streams or the pool. Preferably for under $50. I think this is it: They're very comfy, the hard rubber bottom is good for on the street, and the horizontal "bamboo" pattern on the footbed is such a simple game-changer so you're not sliding all over the place the second they get wet. I like them a lot; only thing I can't speak to is durability but they seem well made, I think this is a definite winner ... show more

I like the way these fit. They provide ample support without being bulky or oversized. These fit much better than several other size 11s I've gotten or tried. I'm a 10.5 athletic shoe and sandals only seem to come full sizes. Elevens are often just a little too big. These fit right, are light, look good, and were a great price. If you're a size 11.5, you might consider getting a 12. The only "issue" is that the footpad that makes contact with your sole has what I assume is tiny anti-skid ridges. While they seem to work OK for traction with your foot, they also trap fine sand in a beach environment with super fine grains like sugar sand. Not a deal breaker for me which is why I still gave them a 4. ... show more

I need a very good slip proof waterproof sandals with arch support and a cushioned sole - I have ordered and returned many many different sandals! I previously had a pair of flip-flops from West Marine that lasted 25 years - they were excellent to wear on the boat without fear of slipping. It took me months to find a pair that lived up to the previous ones I had and these did it. Although these are men’s I had ordered a women’s pair and I don’t like how small the foot bed is so I ordered the men’s and they are perfect. I am glad I purchased these. Comfort was there. Also good support for a sandal, doesn’t slip. The durability after about a year of wearing them the straps started to peel. Once they completely peel it will look like some different ones then what I had. Still I’m glad that I purchased them.
