I've spent a lot of time and money trying to find a perfect all-purpose flip flops, because I wear them all day all year: Enough padding and support for concrete or a store, enough traction for grass and camping, and non-slippy enough for streams or the pool. Preferably for under $50. I think this is it: They're very comfy, the hard rubber bottom is good for on the street, and the horizontal "bamboo" pattern on the footbed is such a simple game-changer so you're not sliding all over the place the second they get wet. I like them a lot; only thing I can't speak to is durability but they seem well made, I think this is a definite winner ... show more

Probably should have ordered a size 13. I usually, with shoes, order 14 as my feet seem to be longer than a modern 13 will hold. Depends upon where the shoes are made. At any rate, these are a bit long. I couldn't figure out what Reef model these were replacing and which fit great so it was a crap shoot. Feel great on my feet, just a bit loose. God ... show more

This is probably the second pair of these flops that I get him because he actually ended up liking these a lot more than the infamous Rainbows. They last. They are comfortable.
