The scent of this fragrance oil is only ok. I was expecting something light and citrus-y, but it's more perfume-y than anticipated. It's still nice, just not what I was expecting. I don't love the decor of the bottle, but I'm going to either soak off the label or put the liquid in a different jar. No stars off, it's totally as pictured. I don't prefer the plastic/woven/non-rattan reeds that are so popular now and that come with this, so I'll swap out and use my wood ones. All in all, for $14 (at time of purchase, 2/25/24), I think it's ok, just don't expect any fragrance you get to smell like what it says, I doubt any do after reading other reviews. ... show more

    • Dupe for Wulong Cha with good projection

When you order a scented product without smelling it first, you never know what you're going to get. This one worked out really well because it has a very pleasant scent. It reminds me somewhat of Earl Grey tea. I don't really smell any of the notes it mentions except tea. But that's fine. I can imagine bergamot even though it's not listed. It takes just a couple of minutes for it to permeate the air in a small room. However, I ended up being sick the same week my dog was and couldn't thoroughly clean up her mess in a large room as well as I'd like because I didn't have any energy. So, I stuck this nearby, and it did a good job of covering up the residual smell until I could deep clean. After a little more than a week, though, you need to flip the sticks over because they stop being as effective at scenting the room. Edit: Realizing that I hadn't tried a lot of tea fragrances, this scent inspired me to try the perfume Wulong Cha by Nishane. I was surprised to give it a sniff and realize that this sandalwood diffuser oil is a dupe for Wulong Cha. It's impressively close. ... show more

This item arrived quickly and is packaged well. It is in a nice quality box, the glass is excellent quality, packaging is great. Got citrus tea which is an overall pleasant scent. Great for small spaces like your guest bathroom, closet, guest room, etc. I placed this is our guest bathroom and it is a lovely addition to the space. Somewhat of a reed diffuser enthusiast. This one is definitely a keeper. Box/presentation is very well done. The Citrus-tea/grasse variety is versatile. It will work in any room, any time of year. I really liked this scent! It got a great throw and lingers pleasantly; I didn't even need to use all of the reed sticks that it came with (I used half and the scent reaches my whole stairwell though it's positioned at the top entrance of my stairs).
