The powdery purple color is perfect for spring! I have several lilac outfits that match perfectly with these. They have a slight metallic shine to them but it's not noticable until you get up close. Good construction even though the original classics were full leather. Im cool with that because I have wide feet so the material these are made of help keep my feet in place and not spilling over the sides. I usually wear a size 8 and these fit perfect in an 8. If you have issues with the amount of space in the toe box, just loosen up the shoe strings to fit your feet. This is my 3rd pair! I have them in black and white, but I bought those in an 8.5. I've worn this style of Reebok sneakers for over 30 years. They support my ankles to keep me steady on my feet. When ordering a new Black pair because my old ones finally wore out, I saw that they came in colors. I was thrilled and ordered a pair of Pink ones. I get compliments on the color every time I wear them. So now I have a pair of Pink ones for good and a pair of Black ones for everyday use. ... show more

I got these for an 80's dance party as these were the shoes I wore a lot back in the 80's. They were my favorite shoes back then with slouch socks. They were stiff at first but after awhile they got more comfortable. They are still more narrow than I remember, I don't remember my old ones being this tight. First of all -- you WILL need to order 1 size up. If you are not familiar with Reebok, they almost always tend to run small, and these are no different, so seriously, order 1 size up or you will be returning for a bigger shoe. OK -- now on to the heart of this review ... I was super excited when these arrived, but was disappointed when I opened the box. These were not like the original ones that were terrycloth lined sneakers with the "glove-soft" leather design from 1982, when these were first introduced. I had both the white and the black pair and loved the soft leather. These just feel stiff. Seriously Reebok, if you're gonna "reboot" a classic like the Freestyle, why can't you keep true to what the shoe is supposed to be, instead of cutting corners on crap grade leather. I can even overlook the fact these don't have the terrycloth lining like they used to, but ugh -- the low quality leather used for these now is horrible. This is one individual who will have to think long and hard about even keeping these. I have always liked Reebok, but this is just a very sad and disappointing purchase. ... show more

I needed these , what we used to call “54.11’s” from back in the day. (Because they used to cost $54.11) I wore them for my Galentine photo shoot with friends. I ordered them Used and to my surprise they were brand new! “Used” must’ve meant opened already. No complaints , saved me money.
