Item arrived on schedule and outer box intact; however the shoe box was a bit beat shall we say. The shoes were in perfect shape; not worn or used, so it's just a matter that these had possibly sitting on the shelf and tossed around for some time? Who knows. Anyway, it didn't affect the shoes; no damage to them. I wasn't sure about these shoes, as I'm not a high top shoe fan and never have been. I have hiking boots that cover the ankle and that's the extent. I ordered a 9.5 (normally a 8.5 or 9 depending on brand) as that was the only option and figured I'd just wear a thick sock if need be. They arrived and low & behold, fit, were nice and roomy without the sock and I was able to wear a brace that was required by my doctor in order to get out of the medical boot I'd been living with due to a broken ankle. I wore these all day without socks and a compression brace; no blisters or anything uncomfortable. My only complaint is that they really accentuate the ankle by that meaning they're bulky in my opinion but it's a high top; and it's protecting my ankles with some stability/padding. The style and appearance on these sneakers are great! Love the extra height! I’m tall and still love the extra height. True to size, however after wearing them during the mid day my feet hurt so much. I only wear them when I’m willing to go through the pain for my style! But I’m not willing to. They are not being used. Maybe if I got soles to put in the sneaker that may help. Buy them! You might have a better experience! I usually have a hard time finding footwear that doesn’t give me pain. ... show more

This shoe fits great. Like all fashionable shoes, if you are prone to bunions, the tapered toe box will make that worse. That being said, the look is classic, foes with a wide variety of outfits, and the bottoms are very cushy. I wore these through 4 airports and many miles of walking in a week and found them to be reliable and cute. ... show more

I’m a 10 or a 10.5 shoe size, the 10 fit perfectly. Comfy and cute! I bought for a dance performance and have been wearing them as my “favorite” sneakers ever since! Plus I can’t help but sing “reebok with the straps” when I go to wear ‘em.

    • Comfortable heel, insert is 2 inches tall in the heel
Comfortable, light, nice 3 inch lift (the insert adds a 2 inch heel lift). The soles are not as grippy/slip resistant, so be careful. Recommend using a shoe horn in the toe box for a day or two before wearing--slightly narrow toebox.

I read a lot of reviews said the shoe is uncomfortable and tight but I guess these people are not un tightening their laces. I went half a size up just in case based on the reviews and I’m glad I did. The shoe is a bit bulky in the inside that’s why it feels a bit tight. Once you open up the shoe un tightening laces and everything else then foot goes right in and I don’t feel uncomfortable wearing them. That says a lot coming from me who has wide and chubby feet. I love my new shoes they look pretty cool and give an 80’s vibe. Definitely go for them but just size them up a bit. ... show more
