I will start by saying that normally I have a narrow foot and wear a size 6, but with the addition of orthotics I have found that a 6.5 wide fit better to accommodate the orthotics. I don't love these, yet. First I went to take the original insole out as that's what I normally do in all my sneakers and they are really stuck in there in one part, so they left a big chunk of insole that is practically impossible to remove because of the glue. Not a huge deal since that part of my orthotic is hard and I can't tell that it's there - but they're a little big on my feet to where the tongue rubs into the top of my foot. I've only worn them around my house for about an hour, so maybe that will break in and I'll attempt to place the original insole back with my orthotics on top to see if that helps take up more space in the shoe. They are lightweight, and for the little bit of walking in them they feel comfortable except where the tongue rubs. The material is a bit thin where the mesh is - thin in the sense that it's kind of see through. I had on grey sock with a pink band and you can kind of see pink through it. I probably could have sized down to a 6, but in the other non-Reebok sneakers I own I've been fine in a 6.5 wide. ... show more

My preference for tennis shoes is those which have a lot of cushioning on the soles. These running shoes totally fit the bill for me. They're comfy, lightweight, and my favorite colors. When I ordered, I selected a half size larger just because I've had tennis shoes run just a bit too small, leaving me with squished toes and toenails. The 9.5 (I usually wear a size 9) gave just enough space at my toes so that there was no friction causing discomfort there. The width was almost perfect for me. The soft heels and ankle area fit snugly around my ankles, which provided stability. The arch area was a good width (and a decent, though a bit low in the height) for me. The only width issue I experienced was in the space where my metatarsals are. The shoes were just a bit too wide there; I noticed that that part of my foot did slide a bit side to side. Only sometimes, though. Not enough to cause me a problem. And, as I mentioned, the toe box area was just right. The top of the shoe is made of "engineered mesh." I'm not sure exactly what material that is, but it's very breathable and my feet didn't get hot on any of the days I wore them, even when I was walking a lot on warm or hot days. The laces are a creamy white which matches the cream-colored stripes on the sides of the shoe, as well as on part of the sole. The shoes at the top are mint green (one of my favorite colors) and in addition to the cream details on the side, they've also included peach-colored ones. Color-wise, the shoes remind me of big scoops of sherbet. The insides of the heels have a lot of cushioning which perfectly cradle my ankles. (3/4 of an inch's worth!) My favorite part of these shoes (other than the colors) are the soles. They're mint green (at the heel) which flows into cream (at the metatarsals and toes). The extreme cushioning is provided by 1" to 1.5" of soft, springy sole! I can't tell you how that supports and protects my feet as I walk. That sole makes walking a pleasure. Overall, these tennis shoes cradle my ankle, wonderfully support my feet (the soles, bones, everything!), and make me feel totally pampered. ... show more
