  • An awesome, addictive game!
Platform For Display: Xbox Series X Edition: Standard Edition
I totally get the complaints about the bugs people were experiencing but that stuff has been pretty much fixed. I got this game a couple weeks back and I absolutely love it. No glitches either! The graphics are pretty awesome too. Yes it had a rough launch but it's a great game

  • You Were Lied To
Platform For Display: Xbox Series X Edition: Standard Edition
This game is good. I played after the big patch and that patch addressed every issue people had with the game. - It runs at a locked 60fps. - The art style rocks - The gameplay is fun and shooting feels great. - Great loot and cool gear. - Extremely fun in co-op - The freedom in approach of objectives is great. - great boss battles. - genuinely creepy - Great world building. This is not an amazing game but it is good. You will have a fun time. This is east coast far cry with vampires with heavy Stephen King vibes. Great game to pick up on a sale. ... show more

  • Worth what I paid
Platform For Display: Xbox Series X Edition: Standard Edition
I got it for 20 bucks. The graphics, especially the "blocked Sun" are really cool, it feels soulless. I might try hosting but I'm mostly a single player. I don't have much more hope but you never know. I enjoy it enough to explore.

  • Redfall unique and enjoyable.
Platform For Display: Xbox Series X Edition: Standard Edition
The reviews for Redfall where so bad at release, I don't want to play it. But now, July 2023 still 30 frames on Xbox. It is the most enjoyable game I've played since The Witcher 3 and Redfall has multi-player, that makes it twice as enjoyable. Xbox has a sleeper hit with this game that I would gladly pay $70 for if it were not on Gamepass! ... show more

  • Halfway Done : 5/10
Platform For Display: Xbox Series X Edition: Standard Edition
I’ve been a game-head for 36 years. Redfall is a modern day Superman 64. Glitchy, buggy, & repetitive in every aspect; missions, enemies, gameplay, collectibles, npc’s, dialogue, & map elements. I can’t believe Bethesda published this and Arkane made it. I have moderate respect for both these two in the gaming realm. They need more integrity & care with play testing. This title seems like it never got tested at all. Seems like they got to about 50% finished and said ok good enough, we’ll still make bank. Definitely not worth $70. I usually don’t write reviews because I don’t buy games based on reviews. Simply because I have had bad experiences with high rated games & great experiences with so-so games. This may be you as well, but I felt like putting a warning out for this one as far as the programming is concerned. This review is based on the Xbox Series X version. Thanks. 👍🏻 ... show more

  • I Decided This Was A Teachable Moment
Platform For Display: Xbox Series X Edition: Standard Edition
We all know what's happened with this game. As a result I've decided to make this a teachable moment to myself. To never pre-order an AAA game again. I'm planning to go to Hobby Lobby and buy the cheapest frame I can that fits the game case and use a little hot glue to afix it to the game. I'll put it right here on the wall next to my computer as a constant reminder. I realize I could return it for a refund, however I'd never learn this important lesson. That being the current game companies have made this the current normal. There is apparently is no intention to improve their behavior towards gamers. Mind you small independent game companies have proven over and over that they are up to the challenge. Perhaps because they have more to lose if they blow it. So, as much as I'd like to pull the trigger on games like Starfield, they're going to have to prove they are worth my support. Since reviews after a release are now the only way trust can be had. ... show more

  • Not bad
Platform For Display: Xbox Series X Edition: Standard Edition
Honestly don't get the hate. It's not the most polished game, but I've been playing it with 3 friends with no issues. It's fun and it actually works to play online opening weekend. Which is something almost no game in the past year has been able to do.
