    • Dad on the go, must haves…
Size: 38 Color: Navy
In a given year, I’m rocking these shorts for about 100d/yr, or more. With two kids, my hands full, big-thigh’ed hiker/lifter legs, I don’t want to stash my cell phone in my butt pocket or front pocket. But down on my thigh, off to the side like a modern-day mobile gunslinger? I can’t say enough about the utility of these shorts. Must haves. ... show more

    • Love these shorts. Will buy again
Size: 44 Color: Charcoal
Great work shorts will buy again. I only have one complaint. And that's the phone pocket. Hey Redkap, you have to keep up with the times. Smartphones today are between 6 and 7 inches long. So you need to add an inch to the depth. The metal button is great for security, but if you plan on keeping it then you need to make the pocket 8 inches deep. 7 inches for the phone(my phone has a 6.8 inch screen, and most people are going for the larger phones). And another inch for the metal button. But guess what, it's not a deal breaker. I can put my keys in the phone pocket and my phone in the main pocket. Still plan on buying 2 more pair of redkap work shorts. Just something to think about. Take Care and God Bless ... show more

    • Started off stiff and tight Now they are soft and loose.
Size: 48 Color: Black
I'm happy with the shorts and they're very comfortable. Not tight in my thighs, my hands fit in the pockets, they seem well placed and my cell phone (S9) fits nicely and doesn't fall all out. (Like in some my dickies) Has to be expected, they were very stiff and tight when they came in. They are now soft and I probably need a belt. (Although I've always been a half size in pants so No winning there without a tailor) I'm leaving the do they fit as expected thing blank because I recently gained some weight and I'm not really sure what size I am. 😜 But the Dickies in the same size seemed a little smaller. I'm a burly 6'.5" @ 325 lbs X athlete build, that hates buying clothes.. so I hope this helps ;-) ... show more

    • They run small
Size: 40 Color: Charcoal
Good quality. They are very stiff, so wash first. They run small so you might want to take the next size up.

    • Great shorts
Size: 38 Color: Charcoal
I've had these shorts for a month now and can say that I totally love them. I have come to expect great things from Red Kap and these don't disappoint. The fit in the waist was just right and the length was good for me, but 12" might be too long for someone who likes their shorts above the knee. I like mine right the knee or a tad lower and the 12" inseam fits great. Others have mentioned in their reviews that these are stiff and they are when you first get them, but then again all work pants are typically made from a stronger fabric that is a bit stiff. The material will loosen up a bit after a wash and frankly after about 15 minutes of wearing them they work themselves out and feel great, but then again I am used to wearing work pants. The only con I have with these pants are with the cell phone pocket. It has a snap on the inside which is great in concept but in reality, my Motorola Moto X Pure (2015) is just too tall for the snap in the pocket so it sticks past it and the screen rubs on the snap. Not really a huge deal for me, since I now use the pocket for my keys instead but would prefer to not have the snap in the pocket like my pants have by another brand. Overall I am extremely satisfied with these shorts and will probably order a few more pairs than the 3 I have now. ... show more

    • Has 1 issue
Size: 40 Color: Charcoal
Quality and comfortable but there is 1 major issue. Not sure who designed the cell pocket but unless you're running a flip phone no normal size smart phone is going to fit in this pocket and close. And if you just put a phone in the pocket the snap is going to rub on the screen.
