This candy has nothing to do with any flavor, let alone cotton candy. It simply tastes like a teaspoon of sugar, which is to say it tastes like nothing. I’d read other reviews mentioning this, but I’d already ordered it.. I like supporting local companies and these folks have a ton of products, hoping this is just one really bad product. The batch I got feels hard when you place it in your mouth, but within half a minute, the harder outer shell, if you will, melts and the center, which feels much softer begins to dissolve. Unfortunately, neither of the outer shell nor the center has any flavor whatsoever. And I mean any flavor whatsoever. I’m a sugar addict. I can eat candy one at a time over and over for hours, things like taffy bites I can eat all day, literally. This candy? I don’t want a second one. It almost could be used to cure my sugar addiction. There are different colored stripes on the product, and it looks fine, but there’s no taste at all really, just sugar. I was going to include them in small gift bags for my customers along with a chocolate mint, but no way. A complete waste of money.
