The sweatsuit looked good on my son right out of the box, however, it pilled a ton with the first wash.. It went in the dryer, so that might have caused the pilling. But it didn't seem to have shrunk at all. I got a size 7 for my 7 year old, who is 49 inches tall and 51 lbs (and very slim). The description might have said this, but there's no drawstring on the waist of the pants, so if you're looking for a slim fit, you might need to add one
