It's long, which is what I wanted, but I'm 6'2 and it reached my belt, so buy accordingly. If you just need a black tie, get it! It's cheap and well worth your money. My son wore this to his homecoming dance, and although his date was literally the worst human alive for the way she treated him, that's another story for another review, this tie looked great all night! It's soft and made out of great material and doesn't cost a lot.
