I’m very impressed with this pre-tied clip-on tie from RBOCOTT. I ordered the Charcoal one to go with a light grey suit that I just got and I’m very happy with it. The width (just over 3-1/4”) is a near perfect match for my suit’s lapels and the dark grey shade looks good with the lighter grey suit, too. And the 20” length is just right. The tie has a black metal hook clip which works fine though I wish it was a spring- or clasp-type to hold the tie even more securely. But for the fit, appearance and price of this tie, I really can’t complain. As a matter of fact, I’ll probably order one or two more ‘cause I hate tying ties! ... show more

this tie looks good for a clip-on, but i do think it's easy to tell it is a clip-on tie. the color is really nice in-person and the quality is good. i ordered this as an option for a wedding and ended up wearing a standard tie as i felt it would match the formality of the event better. however, this could be a good clip-on tie to turn to if you don't know how to tie a tie and need something for a slightly less formal occasion. ... show more

I like the idea of this tie for someone like me who's not getting that perfect knot. This clip-on tie makes it easy to look good. The quality is great and the length and width is perfect for me as well. The only reason I took one star away is that the metal clip is visible on the collar. I wish that the clip was in the middle of the knot so that it's hidden when the tie is clipped on. I'd say that tie passes for teens but perhaps not for adults, unless you don't care about the clip being visible. ... show more
