The only thing I could mark is where it is made. I prefer not to buy products made in China. Ray-Ban, founded initially as an American brand, has been sold numerous times and was recently manufactured in Italy. Now it seems all production is in China. Best glasses made. Worth every penny. The real, polarized glass is unbeatable. Plastic (polycarb) lenses give me a headache and these do not because they are real glass.
