I ordered this 27” Rawlings Threat composite bat for my 8 year old 4’2” 65LBS. Just started playing ball over the summer. The drop -12 really helps him swing the bat around over his Easton Quantom 27” USA batt. And has more pop off the batt.

Properly broke in the bat with my 9yo. Hit 200 times off the tee then went to the machine cages. No sting in the hands and he was hitting bombs in the cage. Light swinging like his quatro pro usa but much better pop as expected. He likes it so I love it.

I ordered this bat for my son. It is too large for him now, but he will grow into it. I have been trying out different bats so I know which ones to get him as he gets older. So far the only brands I really like are Easton and Rawlings. They both make some great products. When I hit some balls with this bat in a cage, I was amazed at the power it has for such a lightweight bat. Although it's only a 31-inch bat, I was able to hit the ball harder most of the time than I can with my normal 34-inch bat. I can tell that my son is going to love this bat when he is old enough to use it. ... show more
