  • 11 yr old loves it.

  • Poor quality bat
Configuration: 29 Inch
What initially seemed like a great bat quickly turned into a broken bat. After 2 months of usage, the bat cracked during batting practice. The about 2-3" near cap end, it split. I've submitted a warranty claim to Rawlings. Even if they replace the bat, we will not use it unless it's a different model bat they replace it with. ... show more

  • Save your money, not durable
Configuration: 30 Inch
My 11 year old wore this bat out in 2 months. The bat was delivered on 3/11/23 and we threw it in the trash 5/18/23. The end of the bat fractured about 3 inches from the end and a few swings later the end broke off. We bought this bat thinking it would be an upgrade, but it was a let down. I do not recommend this product for purchase. Definitely not going to last in anyone’s bag. I’d post photos but not interested in granting permission to access photos. ... show more

  • Rawlings Owns Easton. Chaos Composite. Engineered For Future Little League Champs
Configuration: 27 Inch
Features: -12 drop Lightweight 2023 season USA certified Composite material 2.625” barrel contour Has massive, sweet spot 1-piece composite design Offers distinct sound on impact Polyurethane high tack grip offers cushion and tack Easton bats are consistently in the lineups of the LLWS Very comfortable Easy wrist swings Ready to play Easy to use Durable It’s a beautiful bat and sends balls flying Considerations: Not for use in cold weather batting (under 60 degrees F) Read the warranty, to know what you are buying Useful life determined by how many hard hits use only mild soap and water to clean Not intended for use as team bat Limit bat to individual use only Use leather covered balls only Distinctive sound on impact Not an indestructible bat -12 drop, that’s big Not cheap This review is “not” about which drop to use, or length. There are enough theories out there for the reader to pursue and place their decision into practice. We will comment though that our selection of a (27”) bat was partly in recognition of this being one (1) of the most used starter bat sizes in terms of a player’s age, weight, and height. This bat looks even nicer in person. It swings wonderfully and balls blast off from it. Rawlings bats are in use in the lineups of the Little League World Series (LLWS); one of the most used brands. If LLWS players take advantage of Easton bats, we are too. We also thought a (12”) drop beautifully reflected the engineering that this bat could produce, it’s amazing. We wanted to also highlight that this colorful, lightweight composite bat, made in China, is what we wanted. Above, we have listed the features and considerations we used in evaluating this bat. Be prepared for a batting experience of a lifetime. We give a two (2) thumbs up approval. Hope you found our thoughts useful in any decision. ... show more

  • Nice bat for a still growing child
Configuration: 31 Inch
This Rawlings Chaos Youth Baseball Bat hits that sweet spot of great quality without being insanely overpriced. My son is really into baseball but he’s also only 10 and still growing. He has been wanting a better quality bat for a while but I also wasn’t willing to pay to much money for one since he will only be able to use it for a limited amount of time until he out grows it. And this Rawlings one fit the bill! The quality is great! I actually really like that it has a hard plastic end cap since it won’t dent and scratch as easily as the metal ones tend to. Especially since boys are super rough on bats, or at least mine is. The barrel seams just slightly wider than others we have used, but some how it’s easier to hit the sweet spot even though wider barrels usually make it more difficult to do that. My son also commented that the grip on this bat is really nice and it’s a bit softer than normal, but in a good way. Overall happy with it! ... show more

  • Bat cracks / breaks easily
Configuration: 29 Inch
Less than a full year from purchase and the bat broke. Our 8 year old son isn’t the Natural, but you’d think he was based on this bat’s barrel. I wish I had read the other reviews before we purchased this. Save your money and spend it on something that will last
