  • Excellent Training Tool for Improving Bat Speed & Control!
Color: Multi
The Rawlings Big Stick One-Hand Training Bat is a must-have for any serious baseball or softball player looking to improve their hand-eye coordination, bat control, and strength. It’s well-balanced, durable, and perfect for one-hand drills that focus on refining a hitter’s mechanics. The solid wood construction gives it a great feel, and the weight distribution is just right—heavy enough to build strength but not too overwhelming. It’s especially useful for top-hand and bottom-hand drills, making it a valuable tool for hitters of all levels, from youth players to pros. ... show more

  • Actual training bat
Color: Multi
I know some of the reviews say they have it in their car, or at their bedside, and hey whatever. I got this as an actual one handed training bat for my kid to work on his swing. Weight is good and easy for him to handle with one hand. I’ve done soft toss with him in the cage to work on form and he’s able to make contact and haven’t had any stingers or anything weird. Looks like it’ll last, it’ll be part of my coaching bag for years to come. ... show more

  • Good option
Color: Multi
Good bat and I like that it’s a bit heavier too so you still have to choke up on it if you don’t have the strength!

  • Great
Color: Multi
It is a little heavy for one hand but it is a prefect size for once hand. Very durable and works very well.

  • Heavy
Color: Multi
We bought this as a softball training tool for our 8-9 year old softball team. It’s very durable, well made but definitely heavy. For the drills we were trying to accomplish we had to buy an aluminum small bat. Other than weight it was a great product!

  • helping my sons batting
Color: Multi
Helps steer the bat. Great product. Giggled at some of the reviews about the sticky label, just use a hair dryer on high on the label. My 11 year old was easily able to pull it off this way:) After doing drills with this bat my son saw his power change and more guidance in his swing.

  • Great training bat
Color: Multi
I really like this bat! I coach little league baseball and like this bat, both for helping the kids with their swing and for me to hit grounders to them on the field. The quality of my bat is very high. It is made of a single piece of wood, with the grain running perfectly straight down the bat. It seems likely to last a very long time and unlikely to break. I do wish Rawlings wouldn’t tape the label to the wood. The adhesive is quite sticky and nearly impossible to get off. But that is asthetics and doesn’t impact the bat’s use. ... show more

  • Broke after one practice
Color: Multi
Like others have complained, I only got to use this bag for half a practice before it completely broke in half.
