Bat looks nice. Grip is nice. But for anyone 8u or older, get a different bat. Stings the hands easily and doesn't have enough mass to hit with any authority. Maybe a decent choice for trevally or a very weak kid but if your kid is average strength or more, find something else. For example, an easton speed usssa -11 is outperforming this easily in the hands of my 7 year old. The speed is only like $50, too. ... show more

Bought my kid a Rawlings Peak 26inch 15oz bat at the beginning of the season going into Coach pitch from Machine pitch baseball. His hitting greatly decreased and after about the 4th game with 0 hits noticed it seemed like he was having to compensate for the weight and swing was always just a little off. Went with the Rawlings Icon 26 inch 13oz bat to see if it was the weight and what a difference has it made. The light weight of this bat for our son is spot on as he can now better control his swing and hit the proper way!
