My dog loves stuff like this. Chicken feet, duck feet, necks of all sorts…snouts. For some reason she wouldn’t touch this. She eats necks from this brand no problem. I brought this with me on a dog hiking trip with a bunch of other people and their dogs. Out of the 6 dogs offered this, two of them ate it. One of them would probably eat a paper towel if you wiped up food with it first though so I don’t know how much his opinion counts. So yeah. Not sure what the deal is with this one but I guess if you aren’t too particular I’d recommend the necks instead. My dog loves those. ... show more

The product was rancid when it arrived. My dog wouldn't touch these, and when I smelled the bag, it was obvious the product was rancid. I will avoid this brand in the future.

I got these as a medium chew reward for my dogs. They're a great treat, quite large, and take a few minutes to eat. I like softer chews than rawhide and this fits the box. It won't last very long as a chew itself but is a nice treat they'll chew on as they eat it and leave no mess. I was able to break it in half with some elbow grease, so I wouldn't rely on breaking it into smaller pieces. This is a pack of 10 individual freeze-dried duck feet, and there are numerous reasons why I approve of these treats for my pup. First, they are both sourced and made in the USA, and there is only one ingredient listed: Duck Feet. The label says the feet come from free-range ducks without any added fillers, preservatives or flavors. They are freeze-dried while raw locking in their nutritional value. Each foot has 54 calories (calculated 101kcal/oz), and I have to put them quite close to my nose to notice their scent. Because of all of these points, these freeze-dried feet are a treat I am happy to give my dog. My dog is rarely picky about what he eats, but he reluctantly took the first foot I gave him. He ended up leaving it on the floor for at least 2 hours before he went back to eat it. ... show more

    • Our pup absolutely hates these. But that's just one dog's opinion.
What can I say? Our pup loves duck flavored treats and we thought these would be perfect for her. When we offered her the first one out of the bag she gave it a couple of sniffs, looked at it curiously and then turned and scampered off. Now, you have to understand that these are dried duck feet and they look just like that: dried duck feet! So perhaps our pup just doesn't want to eat some poor duckie's foot. She does enjoy pig's ears and other long lasting chewable treats but these just didn't hit the mark for her. Other meat and poultry eating dogs might just go for these - and from other reviews I can see that these are pleasant treats for many others so I'm not going to disagree just because they didn't work for us. As a side note, when we took our dog out for her next walk after offering her this treat, she turned around, picked up the duck's foot and took it outside with her. She then left it out by the curb, as if to say, "I don't want this but maybe the next dog that passes by might like it." Unfortunately, the dried foot sat there for a day untouched before I just transferred it to the trash. So I guess what I am saying here is that dried duck's feet may or may not be the perfect treat for your dog. They look nice and fresh and I will give them the benefit of the doubt and would recommend that you could at least try them if your furry family friend has a taste for duck. ... show more
