I hate how expensive this is, but heck if it's not the best jarred or canned pizza sauce that I've tried so far. It has robust flavor without being overpowering. I highly recommend pairing it with the Whole Foods Ancient Grains pizza dough and pepperonis. I put the dough in a bowl, coat it in olive oil, and cover the bowl in saran wrap for an hour out of direct sunlight. I then come back and stretch the dough (I reccomend finding a video with some techniques for this) and place it on a pizza stone. I parbake the dough for about 7 minutes at 450°F, let it sit for 5 minutes, then add a pinch of salt, a few shakes of pepper and oregano, this delicious sauce, Whole Foods pepperonis, and Mozz cheese on the half I'm not eating (I'm lactose intolerant). Bake for another 10-20 min at 450°, checking the crust and toppings for desired toastiness. You can get a delicious pizza out of this. The sauce is a MUST for me as I've tried others and they just haven't measured up.

I like my pasta with extra sauce, the sauce my favorite part of the meal, and this one is my favorite, so maybe that means this sauce is extra good?

I love RAO'S sauces but one of two jars of pizza sauce leaked inside packaging. They were packaged very well which makes me wonder if it was packaged with sauce leaking down the side of the jar.

Tastes great, like all the ingredients, once I tried it I thought I'll never make my own sauce again. I bought it from Amazon n Feb. 2023 , picked it up from Whole Foods, no broken jar issue that way. Apparently it was on sale, just looked at my previous purchases $ 3.86 ea. At that price I'd gladly buy it, but at $ 6.29 it is out of my budget. Sometimes manufacturers price items very high at the outset to establish a "status" . This is true with food, clothing, cosmetics, when the stuff doesn't sell like hotcakes, they offer it at a reasonable price. When that happens with this good tasting pizza sauce, I'll buy it again.

I purchased this sauce over 15 years ago! I could not believe authenticates !of home made taste ! It is one of best sauces ! I've had in many years! Trust me I know! I parked this sauce! With a homemade lasagna Noodles! It was a delight!
