I used this set of Perfect Pearls to make my Thanksgiving cards. I put the Perfect pearls on my stamped image using a Versa Mark embossing pad. I layered the colors making them look more realistic. They blended great. The metalics really came through on the coffee bean colored card stock that I used for my base. Just a spritz of water to set the Pearls and you are done. Really love the versatility of this set. You can use the powder dry over embossing ink or medium, or you can mix it with water and use it wet. The colors are richly pigmented, and the set comes with medium, and two brushes (1 round brush, and one blender brush). Instructions on the back explain how the pigment is used. ... show more

The pearls are very nice, but the brushes shed like crazy. It ruined a project I was working on by shedding brush hairs all over it. Maybe there is a conditioning process I was unaware of

I think i will love these once i have mastered them. I have tried a few times and found them a little messy but perhaps that is just me. I have not given up yet. I will try them again once i have a card to place them on. I think i will get to love them.

I really like playing with this Embellishment Pigment. It comes with a perfect medium to use on the stamp. It is a small container.The containers of pigment metallic are also small. It will go a long way if used right. One can also use the large containers of versa color. If one isn't aware of the ways this can be used there are good video to watch.     • Fine powders harmful when breathed

Brought this for 2 encaustic and collage workshops, and both artists did not allow me to open or use this in the classes, even though they had ventilation. They each (separately) said that these powders are very fine and airborne and harmful when inevitably inhaled. One of the artists said that months after it was used in his workshop the metallic particles appeared uninvited in his own work. They told me that the ready mixture of metallic paints were much better. Too bad, I have this useless product sitting in my home now! ... show more
