I ordered the watermelon and sunflower patterns, and both are absolutely adorable. This swimsuit ended up being one of the best purchases for our Bahamas vacation. My daughter is 8 years old and tall and thin for her age. The swimsuit fit her perfectly, and the adjustable straps helped create a secure, comfortable fit. Even while swimming and playing in the waves, the bikini top stayed in place without needing constant adjustment. Another thing I appreciated was that the fabric had no chemical odor when we opened the package. The material is soft, stretchy, fully lined, and feels high quality while still being comfortable enough for all-day wear. It also held its shape when wet and dried quickly. The swimsuit is thoughtfully designed, with no itchy tags and excellent full back coverage on the bottoms. Paired with the matching skirt, it looks adorable while remaining practical for active kids. The colors are vibrant and true to the photos, and the stitching and garters are neat, durable, and well finished. For sizing, I would recommend considering a size up for average-build children or if you’d like extra room to grow. For moee slender children like mine, the listed size fit perfectly. My daughter LOVES this suit! It is very well made. It is not cheap, thin, flimsy or see-through, and feels like something you would buy at the store. The colors are very vibrant, and my daughter loves the optional skirt. My only complaint is after about a year of wear, the buckle on the adjustable shoulder strap just doesn't stay tight. It falls loose and we seem to be constantly adjusting from the moment we put it on until we get out of the water. On the plus side, we got a solid year out of it, and that's really good for a bathing suit for a kiddo. If I was super ambitious, I could probably take it somewhere to get repaired. But I'm not. I bought this for my 6 yr old who absolutely loved it. It was really cute but the band in the skirt was twisted and seen together so no matter how you tried to fix it the band stayed that was and it looked like the skirt was bleached in one area or the dye didn't get on that spot.
