I purchased these shoes in January. I wear them 4 days a week for aqua aerobics in a public pool. It is March now. The lining on one of the shoes lifted up and came off. They still work fine, but one shoe is a bit uncomfortable for walking any distance. Luckily from locker room to pool is only a short distance. It is now the end of May. The second lining came loose. Still wearable. However, the elastic is starting to feel loose. I am concerned about wearing them in the deep end. If they fall off, I'm not diving down to get them. I can still wear them for beach or shallow end exercise.

I really liked this light weight water sock. I love that it has a bit of a sole. Not thick but thick enough that when i go outside, I don't feel the pebbles underneath my feet. Originally, I bought them for going into the ocean. But now I wear them around the house especially on hot days when a sneaker/tennis shoe might be too warm. One suggestion I would make to the product developer? My feet swell in the heat. I'd like a little more wiggle room at the very top of the water sock. Or maybe a V cut out so that when I swell up, the V cut out might give a little. Hmm, maybe I will cut it myself!

As I said in the title, the opening for the foot is TOO SMALL. The worst thing about that is, the binding is NOT STRETCHY. So simply getting my foot *into* these was *very difficult*, and once I did get them on, the opening was **too tight** and had **no give**. I know my way around a sewing machine, and I needed something inexpensive (I got the white, which were on sale), so I'm going to modify the opening to suit my preferences, but for other people, be aware that the opening is not stretchy, so take that into consideration when deciding whether these will suit your needs. Aside from the problems with the opening, these seem to be decent. I only received them day before yesterday, so I can't say anything about how durable they'll be, though so far, they seem like they should last a while. The materials seem so far to be good quality, especially the fabric, and the insoles are better than I've had in other lightweight shoes. The sizing seems to me to be closer to a 7 1/2 than an 8 1/2 (men's size); I usually wear an 8. The width is fine but the top/fabric part could stand to be a *bit* larger vertically to be more like a Size 8.

OK, water shoes ... I've never heard of them before but my cousin suggested I get a pair for the waterpark that we were going to in Universal Orlando. I saw these with the velcro and decided to get them in basic white. What a surprise. They were very comfortable and the rubber soles were just thick enough to protect my feet and keep me from slipping on wet and slippery surfaces. But they're not waterproof ... who knew? It was kind of nice that I could feel the water on my feet and I was really impressed at how quickly they dried ... especially in the sun. Don't know how durable they are yet, since I've only worn it 3 days on this vacation. They still look new and I'll definitely be bringing them to the beach and pool the next time.
