I tried this dress in three different colors; brown, grey and beige. I am 5’3” and 145lbs and ordered a medium. The brown is more of a dark tan and by far fit the best and was the least see through. It’s flowy and very flattering. Perfect for the beach wedding I’m in this summer. It is a little long for my height, but if worn with heels, it’s perfect length. The grey was a pretty color but the one I received was not very good quality. Still a little see through but I wouldn’t have needed to wear anything under to cover up. If the color had worked better with the wedding colors, I honestly would have ordered another in hopes it would be better quality. The beige dress was ok. Fit was still excellent and it was a very pretty dress, but the color had a peachy tint to it and was very see through. I would’ve definitely needed something under it to cover up. The dresses can be worn strapless or with a string halter and I like having the option. The back can also be tied and adjusted to show more skin or not. Overall, a very sexy, boho, fun summer dress!

The quality of the fabric was strong and beautiful. It had some weight which I found nice because of all the wind out. My only issue was the top had major bOObage revealing on the sides (the adjustable straps were no help at all), and the back went down to low on me almost to the crease 🍑🫣. But that’s because I have a short torso and am high waisted.

Things to know- I am short, I have smallish boobs, my waist is 26” and I have wide hips. Likes- this dress is not too long! Hooray!! I was hoping the skirt would be truly as full as the product images, and it is! There is lots of material there and it’s perfect for twirling and running dramatically down a forest path. I ordered the khaki color and it is also true to the product images. The fabric itself is lightweight but not poor quality. It’s nice and stretchy and I love the drawstring skirt! I always have issues with clothes that fit my waist AND my hips, so the drawstring was perfect. Dislikes- I did have to go through and snip a bunch of loose threads. I didn’t find any popped seams or anything just unclipped ends from the manufacturing process. It is somewhat see through so be sure to wear skin tone undies! The halter straps are really skinny and they dig into the back of my neck. I’m kind of worried that they may rip off eventually because they’re so skinny. I feel like wider straps would be more comfortable and less likely to tear. Conclusion- the issues I have are minor, and I will be ordering more of this dress in different colors

Love this dress for its naturalistic, boho style. It’s comfy and looks extremely classy in many settings but especially at the beach. It washed easily and steams well. Also the BEST part is any body size can wear it. It’s versatility to fit any body type is amazing. My curvier friends can wear it and I can cinch a ton for my tiny 89lb self. Love it!

As others have noted, this is a great alternative if you don't want to spend the $$$ on the Free People dress of the same style. Overall, the dress is pretty flattering. It's nice and flowy, and it's comfortable. I bought the light blue one and while the color on my screen is slightly off from the color on the dress (it's more of a baby blue in real life, vs the more muted blue-gray color on my screen), it is a pretty color. Mine does not appear to be see-through, but I wouldn't wear dark underwear with it. The bottom section where you tie (at the lower waist) is REALLY big. You can adjust it to your liking, but I wish it were reasonably tight to start with. When you cinch too much, it starts not looking as good as it could. Also, make sure you secure that knot really well, because if it comes undone, your entire behind will be exposed. It really does gape a lot. The top portion is tight. Can't really wear a bra with it, but those little nipple silicone covers, or a chicken cutlet bra will do the trick. I'm flat-chested and wish there were a better alternative to give my chest area more oomph. I thought about sewing some padded cups inside, but it would be hard to do without the sewing showing on the visible side. At 5'5" the dress is a bit long on the side, so I have to wear heels if I don't want it dragging on the ground. With this said, it is a pretty dress with great boho vibes, and I liked it enough to buy it in more colors!

PROs: Long, elegant, fun to wear, traffic-stopping and compliment-attracting. CONs: Shrinks a touch in the wash, dark colored dyes smell strong; not $10 so I can’t buy all the colors. I’m 5’7”; 150 lbs, late 40s, 32DDD. I originally ordered this in large cream, but it was way too transparent. I exchanged it for the XL olive green and I LOVE IT. Long, elegant, swirls just right, and enough coverage on top. I do need to wear a strapless bra or bikini top with it (see bra size above), but as long as the straps all look good, it’s great. Tons of compliments from random people; all of them polite. I washed it on delicate in a lingerie bag, and it lost about 2-3” in the hem, which was both kind of awesome (I live in NYC and don’t want to trail my skirt on the ground!), and kind of not (I love a truly full-length skirt for tall ladies!). They are not joking about hand washing. Still, I love this dress, and not only can I not stop wearing it, I might well get it in a different color. It’s perfect for hot and muggy days, and if you are lucky enough to be able to go braless, you might also be able to go totally commando and let the back of the skirt dip down daringly low. Just sayin’. Even after washing, the olive green dress smelled of chemical dye, so if you are scent sensitive, you may want to go for a light color and a slip. But dang— if you love a swirly skirt around your legs in the summer, you can’t go wrong with this dress.
