I purchased a Small. It’s a bit tight in the chest, so wear your minimizing bra if you are at all busty. The opening has no buttons, only ties. So in order to be more modest I tie the two sets of ties so the tassels cover the opening in the front. It’s very pretty and soft, but it does not feel like 100% cotton. I’m betting there is a significant amount of rayon in the fabric content. I haven’t washed it yet. I plan to hand wash and hang to dry. ... show more

I love this dress. I admired it on a woman on the train and she told me it was from Amazon!! It is really comfortable and I almost always get a compliment when I wear it. I recently took it on a three week trip and it packs well, holds it shape, washes well and dries quickly. I didn’t like the tassels ( made it look like pajamas) so I cut them off and you can’t even tell they were there. I also wear a tank under it or a sports bra because it is too low cut for my comfort. It’s my go to dress when I can’t decide what to wear. It does have a bohemian vibe, and looks good with birks, flip flops, and closed toed nicer shoes. ... show more

The dress is really cute and comfortable. I did find the slit in the neck a bit low, but tied the tie tightly. I have since bought a slip. All in all it’s very comfortable and flowing. I do like and will enjoy it!

I’ve received compliments from my husband, friends, and even strangers when wearing this dress. Fabric is good quality, is hand wash only (I put it in a laundry bag and laundered it on delicate with other clothing), it laundered well, downside is that it will require a good steam or ironing when it dries—it cannot be dry-cleaned. However, the tie tassels did not fray or fall apart, which was a concern. I would buy this dress again. ... show more

Read many reviews before buying. First bought "multicolor blue" which is more purple/blue to me but still very nice. I'm 5'7" 138lbs & purchased small as did not want to feel like I was wearing a tent. It's a great fit, but as others have mentioned a little snug across the chest. For me the snugness was across the armpit area rather than boobs - though I do not have big boobs, so I would size up if you're well endowed. I bought a 2nd in beige (for fall) - same fit. Washed both before wearing by hand in cold water and no shrinking. Hung to dry and was very surprised that creases could be released by shaking and pulling a little while still damp. (Wash instructions are on label, mine are both 55% rayon/45% cotton). They looked great after ironing. Very pleased with purchases, just wish it was possible to zoom in to get better look at the patterns on the dresses before taking the plunge. ... show more
