The colors of this dress are simply gorgeous and so vivid. Each and every time I wear it out shopping I receive kind compliments of "your dress is so beautiful!" The color of the dress in the advertising is exactly the color you will receive. So nice! But, living in the desert of Arizona, I made one alteration. The sleeves had to go! I cut them off at the shoulder to create a sleeveless dress, and I used the bias of the sleeves to create thin bias binding and made this into a sundress. Being out in 113 degree weather is easier for me when my dresses are sleeveless. It was an easy alteration and I have done it to all of the other dresses I have purchased from this company. The rayon drapes and flows so gracefully. Even though the advertising states "cotton/rayon" I would bet my bottom dollar that the entire dress is solid rayon and only the long string ties are made of cotton. That said, I bought it in the largest size I could because once it is hand-washed, rayon dresses will shrink up. It's the nature of rayon. This dress is not one that you can throw in the washer and dryer. It needs to be very gently hand-washed in cold water and then air-dryed on a hanger. I have purchased several of these dresses here from Amazon and love each and every one of them. The fabric colors and designs are so lovely.

I am 5’1” and this did not come down to my ankles which I’m very pleased about love the colors I got an XL to cover a large chest otherwise large would’ve been fine there’s so much flowy fabric. I was literally stopped in Whole Foods and asked by a very well dressed woman where I got my dress because she thought it was so beautiful and I told her Amazon! Mind you I’m in a Whole Foods surrounded by many high price designer womens stores in the strip mall in this well to do looking woman I was so surprised my answer was Amazon!

I bought this dress in the cornflower blue color and loved it, so I wanted another. Only after adding the pearl buttons on the neckline, however, did I notice the fabric has a tear in it. Because I've altered it, I can't return it. Also, the brown dress is a pinch snugger in the bodice and a bit shorter in length than the blue dress. Still a nice blousy dress - but just be careful to "inspect" after you receive it. I am 5'5" and 180 lbs and ordered a L 12/14.

The dress is very pretty and I knew better but I couldn't resist the pretty prints. I kept seeing this mentioned, and I had the feeling it would not be a good look for me, but oh so tempting. I thought it might be too long and frumpy (I'm 5'3" 160 lbs, ordered the Large) but the length I didn't think was too bad on me. From the front it looked okay and I thought it might be a nice vacation dress, until I turned sideways. Looks awful on my body type. I need a bit more structured dress like an easy wrap dress or not so billowy sundress with a waist or empire waist to not give me the bowling ball in a bag effect. I know I'm overweight but this makes me look worse than what I am. It's a lovely print (this is the "Green" and the fabric seems pretty okay, not too thin a rayon. It would be lovely on the right person. It's just not a good fit for me. It does run a bit big, I had a couple of inches at the high waist seam, bust wasn't bad and I'm not busty so for big chest you might want to order up. More than enough hip room, even I could fit a small child in there with me. Casual Boho print: check. Easy lightweight fabric: check. Cut and style: nope.

I agree with all the positive reviews. I wanted a comfy dress to wear while I run errands. Surprisingly, people have stopped me on the street to tell me how much they love the dress. I keep walking so they don’t ask me where I got it because I feel weird telling them I got it from Amazon. Also, great for hot, humid weather. Even though the sleeves are long, they’re loose enough to get plenty of airflow. After I started getting compliments. I bought two more in different prints.

I absolutely love this style of dress for my church gatherings! I am 5' 6" tall, 155 lbs, 38 bust, medium build and 68. During the days I'm working the ranch in jeans and hat, tossing bales of hay and scrubbing out rabbit pans. Sunday is the only day of the week that I can be a lady in appearance and behavior. I am an incredibly picky person when it comes to dresses and femininity. When I dress up, I have to sparkle and shine. The rest of the week I can be a pig. So there are very few dresses or styles that appeal to me. Many are way too 'youthful' in appearance for my age. I'm a very country farming individual, and live in the AZ desert, so I like wearing things that cover the knees, the arms, and the breasts! As a Christian that is a must. I'm not big on frills either. Simple, western, even exotically Mexican fits my needs and this design does it. I don't care for tight fitting outfits. Loose is best. And this dress design provides all of what I desire without overdoing the fancy perks to keep it both casual and for special occasions. I wear this with some really cute stone-colored knee high lacy leather boots and my husband adores the overall outcome. The upper panels on this dress give it a nice bodice and definition, and to prevent any 'cleavage' from being exposed (my dirty pillows) I tie the bottom tassles very tightly and add a safety pin to close up the gap. It is an over-the-head dress, so I do my hair after I put the dress on, otherwise I'll have a bedhead appearance. The pattern is absolutely adorable, yet not too childish or immature, so I pull it off nicely. My husband adores this style on me, and says it makes him feel like a kid again. The bottom flows so beautifully and there is no sheerness. I spray and toss the dress into the dryer to remove all wrinkles. The material is very light and wafts prettily around my knees. It is country all the way with a fling of dressy. It can be worn with or without a hat, but not my working hat, so I'll be seeking out future hats that are more church appropriate. The design looks like it was made for me, brassy yet subtle and the pastels are amazing. Colors are true to the display, and I opt for an XXL. Not because I'm a 16-18 figure (I'm truly only a medium to large figure with 38 bust) but because I like the fuller skirting and the ease of extra to pull it over my head and not struggle. The sleeves have elastic wrists and can be pulled up for a different style. I so fell in love with this design and loose flow that I have purchased 5 versions already and will likely purchase more. They do have other button down dresses similar in patterns that I might also consider. Well made, beautiful colors, and if you're a blonde like me, the sky is the limit on choices. Highly recommend for older women!!!
