I bought this dress in lavender. The color is more of a twilight blue which will not work for the occasion. I wear bra size 40I. The top was a little tight in the 20W size but still doable and very beautiful. I felt gorgeous in this dress. I am returning and hoping to find the same dress in a different color. The material and style is s perfect for a plus size woman. I have tried on multiple dresses. This is s the only dress I tried on that was a definite yes for the fit. Wish the color would have worked. I am 5’6” tall and 223 lbs. I am still giving it 5 stars. Just because the color wouldn’t work for my occasion, it might for someone else.

Purchased as a mother of the bride dress. At 5'2" I expected any floor length dress purchased would be 6-8 inches too long. I purchased both the size 4 and the 6. As expected both were too long on me. However, the 4 was just a hair small (too tight under the arms) so I kept the 6. (The free return was nice and is now fully processed, even the original shipping cost was refunded). As expected I am having the overall length adjusted. This is to be expected as I am relatively short and this was sized for a more regular height person. The only thing I was a bit un-happy with... the jacket was stretched out at the top of the shoulders, giving the appearance of "horns" sticking out. I was able to tuck this extra material under and re-stitch and it now looks great. Note: the size 4 did not have this issue, only the size 6. That is the only reason this was not given a 5 star. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and love the color. It was just what I was looking for. Also, regarding adjusting the length, the lacey layers only need to be trimmed (no hemming required)so only the inner layer will need to be hemmed. This will make the length adjustment fairly easy.

It's been a long road of trial and error in finding a plus size " mother of the groom" dress that makes me feel lovely! This dress is stunning, flowing, elegant, feminine and enough modest so I don't feel self conscious. The jacket is perfect in length... wanted basic upper arm coverage, but this actually is very flattering to the upper arms, and takes the dress to the next level. (Wedding day- April 29th, I'm ready for you! ) Excited to update this review with hair/ makeup/ wedding photos!!

This is a beautiful dress! I ordered champagne but it's a taupe color. Had I looked at this in the store I wouldn't have even considered it due to the color. Since it came to my home I decided to put it on to see how it fit. I am so glad I did, it looks wonderful on me, a perfect fit, and the color looks so good on me. So don't be overly concerned that the dress is darker than shown, you will love this dress.

This was a surprisingly lovely dress! At 5'3", I will need to have it hemmed but that is par for the course for me. The photo of the dress does not do it justice as there is just the right amount of sparkle to make it a perfect grandmother-of-the-bride gown! The bodice and the bolero jacket are sparkly and the color is a rich and beautiful champagne. I'm so happy I took a chance and ordered it!!! Highly recommend!!! I would order one size smaller than you usually wear as was indicated in previous comments that I read online.

After reading many reviews, I decided to purchase this beautiful dress for my sons wedding. I ordered it late and emailed the seller on a SUNDAY AFTERNOON begging them to expedite my order. They responded within twenty minutes and fulfilled my order! Wow! What service! I received it packaged nicely and in its own garment bag! I was prepared to send to cleaners for pressing but it was not necessary. I am 5’9 210lbs, long waisted. I ordered a size 16, the dress fit great but due to my long waist, I snipped the tops of the shoulders in half and extended them with super long safety pins so as to lengthen the dress and give me the desired placement of where I needed the belt which is my waist and not my rib cage! The dress is long but I knew that. Would prefer it to be about three to four inches shorter. I love it and will wear it again to a symphony in December! Great price! Would purchase it all over again!
