I bought this SIM card to test a 4G LTE outdoor camera. This is my first time testing an outdoor camera with a cellular connection, and I chose this SIM because it operates on all three major networks—AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon. Where I live, only T-Mobile has good coverage, so the SIM’s ability to automatically connect to the strongest network was very helpful, with no need to change any settings. I also appreciated the option to buy a small amount of data, as I didn’t need a large data plan just for testing. Activation was quick and easy—it actually took longer to insert the SIM into the camera than to activate it, which was a pleasant surprise. The online registration was straightforward, requiring only an email, first name, and last name, unlike some providers that ask for additional information like company name. The online portal showed the card as activated and displayed the allotted data. After a few days, I received an email suggesting a possible top-up, but there was no pressure to buy more. If I do choose to add data, I can see that the portal is easy to navigate for purchasing additional data, which I will do later today. I would recommend this sim.

This SIM card has connected to the internet. I had trouble at first and contacted support. They guided me, Register the card, insert it, and leave connected for 2 minutes. It seemed to connect at first but it takes a few minutes to fully register and connect fully. I did not need to change the APN but that may be necessary it a problem still continues. The item received is different from what they advertised. This SIM is not a true universal US carrier SIM: it's a specialized roaming card that is mislabeled and underperforming. This "Universal" Card is a Roaming/loT Hybrid: It's not designed to be a standard, local US data card. It's built to hop between whatever roaming partners allow it access. The APN list is almost exclusivelv for the Orange network (which is a major European carrier). This confirms that the "universal" SIM is essentially a roaming SIM tied to a European infrastructure. Should not be sold with statements of working on Americas networks. All lies. It roams and find an acceptable signal that is horrible. I tested this card in a POC radio and it changed the APN to European domain. Stay clear.

First things first; MDS Customer Service is top notch. Very responsive via email as well as clear and concise. The most important tip I received was to enter the "wbdata" in the network name field if the APN field/ settings wasn't accessible. That worked like a champ - connected to T-Mobile. They actually bumped up my data allocation to 2Gb for the trouble. I purchased this Data Sim Card for my vehicle in-car connectivity. The price was very reasonable for my purposes as was the amount of data that I needed. Everything is on the up-and-ups now.

Giving it 1 star for now. I have not been able to register nor activate the card. I fill out the information as requested on the website and always comes back with error 500 under maintenance. **update** I was finally able to register and activate the sim card. Right now is working fine for what I intended to use it for which is voice communications via internet (Ham Radio). Not sure how it works for internet surfing.

I wanted to put this in an LTE WiFi modem, the 4G-UFG-XXXX device. I cannot get it to connect to a cell service. The customer service suggested things, but they didn't help. Apparently I need to set up the APN with some additional info. It is NOT automatic, as advertised.The company worked with me to try and get the SIM working in my modem, but was unable to help. They have offered to refund my purchase, which i will accept. I cannot fault their effort, only their success in helping. They said I needed a different modem. Their Amazon specs said "They’re compatible with a wide range of devices including cell phones, GPS tracker, tablets, laptops, dongles, trail camera, security cameras, drones and IoT devices." Since I have a dongle, it should have worked.
