  • Didn’t trust the attachment-Seller made me pay for shipping in order to get refund.
Style: iPhone X
This mount had to be attached to the bike’s handlebar with 2 cheaply made plastic strips. I know those type of plastic strips & they’re not dependable or strong. If I had known about the cheap strips, I would have never ordered it so had to ship the entire unit back. The Seller made me pay to ship this item back even though I contacted him twice to request for a prepaid shipping label. Shame on you! The rest of the holder was good quality. I think the manufacturer should change the plastic strips to a strong rubber attachment. ... show more

  • The adhesive will fail
I was on a bike ride and while crossing a railroad the adhesive failed sending my phone tumbling down the road into the ditch. Fortunately my phone was only scratched and not broken but I would consider that a major design issue that is extremely likely to happen at some point to all users. I followed all mounting directions and stuck the mount to the back of a hard plastic case as recommended. I have gorilla glued the mount back to my case and will see if I'm brave enough to try it again, otherwise I'll be looking for a different mount. ... show more

  • The Quad Lock system is the best phone mounting system for cycling
Style: Bike Mount Pro
While the Quad Lock system is pricey and requires a dedicated phone case and proprietary mounting hardware I can say it's the best way to mount your phone to your bike. I previously bought a $60 Quad Lock Out Front Mount Pro and it was simply awesome however with my new bike the handlebars were simply too thick and since I still wanted to use the Quad Lock system I decided to get the Stem Handlebar Mount at $30. The Quad Lock mounts by no means any kind of value, but simply they are some of sleekest most secure ways to mount your phone to your bike. The handlebar mount uses basically super tough rubber bands to mount and/or you can use the provided zip ties. I would recommend using double sided 3M tape to mount the Quad Lock since this will keep it from moving around while installing the rubber bands and provide overall stability. I actually think mounting and unlocking on the stem/handlebar version is easier than the out front versions. I am interested to see how long the rubber bands actually last since I had to use the larger included ones and a lot of tension was required since my stem is fairly thick. ... show more

  • This is the best way to mount your phone to your bike
Style: iPhone X
This is the best way to mount your phone to your bike. When I bought it I was worried about a couple of things. 1. Does it work with wireless charging? Oh yes, it does! You can make this your main phone case if you wanted to and not have to worry about taking it out of the case to charge. 2. Does the screen work with the rain cover? Yes, it does... but you need to press the screen more than normal. The plastic cover has these small bumps on it to keep it off the screen so you need to press harder to make good contact. It could be due to the screen protector that I have on the phone that makes it that way but, either way, it is responsive enough to work. 3. Does it work with FaceID? Yes, it does! Now, it may be tough to get the phone to "see" your face while riding the bike but oh well. Overall, it may not be cheap but you can bet the phone will not fall off the bike at all. ... show more

  • Great mounting system. OK as a case for charging but not for other phone generic phone mounting systems. Case appears study.
Style: iPhone X
As a mounting system it is definitely top notch. My phone does not move or vibrate at all. I use the bike mount on my motorcycle and it is awesome. It’s seems to be a sturdy case as well. Tight fitting so if you use a screen protector that curves around the screen, it will cause issues. Trim it or use one that doesn’t cover the curves. It has a little lip on the front to protect it should it fall and land face down. The bike mount is not ideal for a motorcycle because the stem. Does not move like a ram mount so it may not be facing the desired direction for you to see it. It came with rubber O rings to mount it to the handlebars and move it from handlebar to handlebar. I don’t imagine it lasting very long after staying in the rather or sun too long as rubber wears down. It also comes with zip ties. Removing it requires two hands. So you better not be moving. As a case it’s not my favorite. Because of the design, the case is thicker. This makes it difficult to use in most car phone mounts. You can buy other mounting options from them at a cost of $40-$50 each. I dont’ think so.It will do inductive charging but also because of the thickness, the case has to be placed on the pad perfectly so it will recognize the charging pad. ... show more

  • Not universal enough for use on manual customized wheelchairs
The elastic bands are not large enough to fit a K0005 Ultra Lightweight Wheelchair, specific model Ki Rogue Titanium model. After three weeks the bands snapped off. I used the zip ties, initially thinking they would serve as additional securement and cut off the extra length as close as possible. The zip ties and the part that mounts to the frame of a bike or in this case, wheelchair, slides left and right which means when the phone is not attached to the mount, the mount rotates, and the zip ties dig into my leg. I had high hopes for this. Also I have a 90 degree angle sloped foot tubing, so for the mount to be somewhat effective it's 2 inches from my seat cushion, and my S7 Edge phone sticks out far enough to clear my leg if I turn the mount outward. Doing this positions the phone to interfere with effectively using my hand/push brakes and scrapes up my hand in the process as well as risks sustaining damage to my phone even with a military grade case and one of those heavy duty screen protectors. You have to rotate the phone 90 degrees to secure/unsecure it from the mount. So you need a fair amount of clearance for this to work as intended. Madrona if you decide to make a mount for customized active, sporty wheelchair users, I'll consider trying it. The mount needs to be able to form factor to curved sections of a metal frame. Maybe use textured flexi-rubber straps (similar to a watch band?) instead of thin elastic bands. I'm sure something specific for wheelchairs would generate loads of profit. I have gone through so many screen protectors because of holding my cell phone on my lap and my phone falling and getting run over because I couldn't stop fast enough. Or the phone was dropped on uneven pavement/concrete which had jagged bits damaging the phone screen. ... show more
