I purchased this measuring cup less than a year ago to have an additional 1-cup measure on hand. The measurement markings are already fading to the point of being barely readable. (Note that the label on the bottom has withstood many cycles in the dishwasher, but the markings have not.) I purchased the Pyrex brand because of its reputation and my past experience of durability and quality. For comparison, I still have a 2-cup Pyrex measuring cup that I purchased in 1984 or 1985 and the markings have held up for over 35 years. I am deeply disappointed in the decline in quality of this classic brand. The outer facing portion of the label says that it is "Distributed by Corelle Brands LLC....Rosemont, IL." The side of the label that faces inward says that it is "Made in U.S. or China." I'm guessing that it is the latter. I've grown weary of classic U.S. Brands that are offshoring their manufacturing to China. The quality just isn't the same. What a disappointment. ... show more
