First- the Wizard of Oz is one of my fave movies. I always wanted to be Dorthy as a kid. My Mom would braid my hair and put me in an apron dress to watch each year when it came on tv . I was obsessed with this movie . So when I saw this - the nostalgia flooded my heart . I immediate thought of my 12 year old precious girl. I ordered hoping for the best, but expecting Halloween store quality . I am so glad I was wrong . This dress is so adorable and it’s well made . It’s a cotton mix with a zipper - not ties . It’s soft and comfortable to touch against skin . The sizing is spot on to slightly big . I’m telling you this could be worn as a Sunday dress if you wanted . It’s a tad thin so a slip is needed . But it’s that nice . It’s so detailed for a costume- even has the lace trim . Add to that - it comes with two ponytail holders with the blue bows and the light blue grey socks !! It’s such a precious costume !! I recommend this if you love Dorthy - as it’s perfect for Halloween, cosplay , or costume party . I can’t wait to see this on my very own tiny Dorthy lover . This is such a great quality costume - im shocked by the price. It’s on par with the very upgraded Halloween costumes at the Halloween store

I'm 5'1", weigh 97 pounds, wear a 34DD bra, and I ordered this Dorothy-inspired costume from Wizard of Oz in a size small. Unfortunately, the dress almost reached my ankles, making it much too long for someone my height. I was also disappointed because it had a frumpy look and wasn't very flattering on my figure. The material is a little scratchy, and there were loose threads hanging from the inside of the dress. While you can't see them when wearing it, they made me question how well the costume will hold up after washing. If you're exceptionally tall and looking for a more modest Dorothy costume, this may work well for you. However, it wasn't flattering for my height or proportions.

This Dorothy costume comes with the dress, a pair of blue socks, and two blue bows attached to hair ties. The fit was true to size and the dress itself is comfortable, but the overall quality left me a little disappointed, especially for the current price of $25.99. The biggest issue is the fabric. The blue gingham material is extremely sheer—you can easily see colors and patterns through it, so you’ll definitely want to be mindful of what you wear underneath. I’m including a photo with a patterned bag placed underneath the fabric to show just how see-through it is. The white trim at the bottom also doesn’t match the listing photos. It appears to be a thicker ruffle in the pictures, but in person it’s a very thin, see-through lace that makes the costume look cheaper than expected. I also noticed that some of the stitching already looks stressed at the seams, which doesn’t give me much confidence in how well it will hold up. Another thing I noticed is that the colors don’t match very well. The socks, bows, and dress are all different shades of blue. Individually they look fine, but together it’s noticeable. Overall, the costume is cute and fits well, but the thin fabric, mismatched colors, inconsistent blue tones, and lower-quality construction keep it from feeling like a great value.

Pretty surprised by the quality of the costume. I was already expecting paper thin quality but this was not the case. The dress and the accessories are all very well made! The socks are soft, stretchy and comfy; I do feel like they will be a bit tight around the ankles though. I’m W8 and they will fit perfectly length wise. The bows are adorable and have a hair tie attached to them. I got a size Medium and it’s perfect. I’m currently 150lbs, 5’1, 36D, jeans size 8 and tops usually M/L. I was worried it would be tight but it’s not. I was even wearing a sweater top under and it still fits. The length is below my knees though (again, I’m 5’1), but I’m a 35+ year old Mom who will trick or treat with her kids, my HO-HO! years long gone anyway.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this PYOF Women's Halloween Costume! It's made incredibly well, and the dress is constructed from a nice lightweight cotton-like fabric. It feels much nicer than you'd expect from a typical costume. The fit is true to size. I'm 5'2", around 125-130 pounds, and ordered my usual size Medium. It fits perfectly. The costume includes the dress, socks, and hair bows for the braids. You'll still need to add your own ruby slippers, basket, and Toto, but those should be easy enough to find. This is an adorable, well-made Dorothy costume, and I'm very happy with it. I can't wait to wear it for Halloween! I would definitely recommend

I ordered the Dorothy costume, and it's super cute! The dress is better quality than I expected for the price, and I was so happy to see it has a zipper in the back instead of Velcro. It also comes with two hair bows and a pair of light blue socks, which is a nice bonus. Overall, I'm really impressed with this costume, and I'm sure my daughter is going to love wearing it for Halloween. I think it's a great value for the price.

The blue and white fabric is loosely woven. The white fabric is not woven. There is lace at the bottom of the dress which was not on the original costume. The waist of the costume is above the natural waist, and the hem was rather short above the knee. Is this supposed to be a "sexy" Dorothy showing leg? This could have been designed for short Asians or a child. I got the medium because that was what was available, but a large or extra large would have been better. I tend between medium and large.

This is adorable. The shirt is built into the dress. It comes with blue socks and 2 bow-on hair bands. I need the red shoes and hope for an INDOOR Halloween party so I don't freeze! Overall, super good for the price.
