I'm really happy with this. We were a little nervous because none of the cabinet beds have many reviews. (Tip - to see more review, find other PureMind beds with the same basic description. The instructions indicate that there several that are all the same but with difference face patterns.) It was delivered in 3 boxes, two of which were very heavy. We took all the pieces out in our garage so we wouldn't have to life the heavy boxes. I took inventory of all o the wood pieces and hardware to confirm that nothing was missing. All pieces were accounted for and in good condition. The wood pieces were all packed and protected well. The instructions are easy to understand. Constructions was tedious but not hard. My husband and I worked together and it took just under 3 1/2 hours start to finish. We took our time. Each piece is so well marked that it was not hard at all to get everything put together in the right direction, etc. About halfway through, my husband was a little worried about how sturdy it would be, but by the time we finished it was quite obviously going to be just fine even for two large adults. The mattress was fun to unwrap. It expanded immediately and although it is pretty thin, it was more supportive than I thought it would be. It is quite firm so I will get a soft topper for it. The drawer is large enough to fit pillows and sheets and maybe a blanket. It really looks nice and is exactly what we needed.

I really wanted a guest bed in my wife’s office but she didn’t think a bed would look professional in her work calls and I agreed. When I found these Murphy beds I thought this would be a great way to accommodate both needs! I really appreciated how flexible the seller was when I requested to purchase the Murphy cabinet without the mattress. Within 24 hours they created a new link for me to purchase. It was delivered together is good time, and was pretty well packaged. Only a couple very small dings and I’ve come to expect a little of that with build it yourself furniture, especially if it’s shipped. My wife and hired a babysitting thinking it was going to take much longer to assemble than it did. We managed to do it in about 3 hours. We organized all the pieces the first night and started putting it together. The next day we took about another two hours to finish assembly. It wasn’t terribly complicated, but definitely required two people to assemble. However, once assembled it’s easy to unfold and fold up with one person. It’s a nice quality piece of furniture and looks great in the space!

Save your money the product is not “solid wood” it is particle board with a veneer . Cheap china crap the drawer face is warped , side tray is warped and coming apart, building the base and 1/2 of the connectors will not hold - not sure they could supply cheaper components. If I want a refund I need to repackage and return at my own cost I estimate it weighs 200# so shipping for a return will cost me 300.00$ minimum- it shipped from the east coast so the seller had to pay 150.-200 bucks so you are buying really cheap product -1/3 of cost is shipping .

This was rather difficult to put together with a couple pieces of hardware missing. The glides that come out to support the bed do not stay in the proper way so you have to deal with that. Our guests told us the bed was way too firm so we had to get an extra thick mattress pad for about $100 or so to make it somewhat comfortable.

I’m really impressed with this Murphy bed. It’s incredibly sturdy and well-built. You can tell right away this is a solid, all-wood piece of furniture, not something flimsy or cheap. Once it’s set up, it feels just like a regular bed. No creaking, no squeaking, even when you move around on it. One of my favorite things is how much space it saves. When it’s folded up, it takes up very little room, which makes it perfect for a guest room, office, or any multi-use space. You can truly use the room for other things during the day and still have a comfortable bed ready when you need it. It’s also very easy to use. I can fold it up and down by myself without any trouble, and the mechanism feels smooth and secure. Assembly took me about 4 hours, and I did most of it on my own. Everything was clearly labeled—every single piece, including the nuts, bolts, and screws, which made the process so much easier than I expected. Overall, this is a beautiful, functional piece that looks great and performs even better. If you’re looking for a space-saving bed that doesn’t sacrifice quality or comfort, this one is absolutely worth it.

This Murphy bed worked quite well for our home. We were able to reclaim the floor space taken up by a traditional queen sized bed. I assembled the bed in about 6 hours. I needed my wife’s help on two steps that dealt with assembling the cabinet. All parts, pieces and hardware were included. One extra of each fastener was included. Directions were pictures and very easy to follow. No guess work. This is a very good option if you are shopping for a Murphy bed.

We are very pleased with the cabinet bed. We ordered the queen size and it looks great. My 72 year husband was able to assemble it in two days. He said he was very impressed with the letter coded directions. It is very sturdy and the mattress is comfortable, we will put a topper because it is quite firm which will probably be alright for guest. Love it!
