They feel soft, and will get softer with more washes, but they are not super slick/cold sheets when you get into bed. I just opened these up today and the smell was terrible right out of the box. Absolutely terrible. I can't even pinpoint what it was because I have never smelled anything like it. No visible stains so I tossed them right in the wash and hopefully that will get rid of the odor. On the positive side, the color was true to the product image, they felt nice, and the quality of the sewing and fabric seemed good. Update 8/28/23: Washing did the trick, no more smell. Not really wrinkle-free, but pretty nice sheets and pillow cases. ... show more
