My baby boy was born with a lot of hair, so I got this in hopes of helping prevent the bald spot in the back of the head. Unfortunately the silk fabric always feels cold to the touch which bothers him, and it starts to sag/stretch out after a day or two which requires me to keep adjusting it, but I guess that’s ok because I need to launder it every couple days anyway because he tends to spit up sometimes. The way it velcros together is neat because it’s not a typical hook&loop that would snag on everything else, but it’s soft and sticks to itself super well.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this for my daughter’s crib and have noticed a huge difference in her hair on the back of her head. My other two babies always had hair missing on the backs of their heads because I never knew about this kind of material helping with their hair. It’s soft, comfortable and easy to put on the crib mattress.

Doesn’t fit well on a bassinet mattress but does on the crib mattress. I don’t know that it’s actually helped keep her hair from being rubbed out though.

I didn’t know how bad cotton would cause my baby’s hair to fall out. I noticed a ton of her hair coming out on all of her cotton blankets. I use this silk cover now for where her head lies. After just a few weeks her hair has noticeably filled in and I no longer see her hairs on her blankets. I use a silk pillow cover for my own hair so I’m glad they make these for babies, too! Mine has also held up very well after several washes (I wash about once a week because of drool), and the mesh bag provided is great. Machine wash on cold and hang dry.

It’s definitely large for a bassinet, but it’s a great quality product so I used safety pins on the underneath side of the mattress to make it fit tight in our Halo Bassinest and it worked great! Plus it’s big enough for her crib when she transitions out of the Halo, so we’ll be able to use this one size for all. Just got it so no idea if it will help her hair grow back from all her head rubbing, but it has to help for sure. Love the price for the quality especially since I was looking at the brand Silky Tots costing $59 vs this $25 - totally worth retrofitting with pins to make it work for the awesome price. Plus we have the breathable Halo mattress and sheets and I stuck my face in this after putting on the silk sleeve and I can still breathe through it all which is awesome peace of mind if she rolls over
