Ahh, because as soon as I slipped them on, I knew they were going to be my go-to shoes for everything. Chemotherapy I received as a cancer patient years ago caused severe neuropathy in my feet. I have had a very hard time finding shoes that are comfortable to wear and walk in, let alone look amazing, at an affordable price. These shoes are beautifully well-made, and so comfortable. Size-wise, I measured my feet in inches and was right between an 8 and 8-1/2 according to the chart. I went with the 8-1/2 and the fit is perfect. I have severe foot pain due to neuropathy. After extended periods of walking, my feet start to go numb. Got these in the taupe, size 9M and no foot fatigue! Felt like I was walking on clouds all day. Loved so much I went back days later and order another pair in the Fuchsia! Love the style and the softness of the nubuck as well as the inside of the shoe. No rubbing anywhere. I originally was looking for the Wallabee shoe made by Clarks, but they were sold out of my size. I was initially skeptical of this much less expensive pair that look exactly like the Clarks Wallabee, but that skepticism has been replaced with pure delight that, not only did I get a pair of super comfortable shoes that match my style, but I got the pair at a fraction of the cost (literally saved $100).
