I chose this cinch because the fleece is actually Merino wool instead of a synthetic material and also that the fleece could be removed and cleaned. I'm really glad I decided on this cinch. At first I didn't like the shape of the buckles, but now that I've used it, I can understand why the buckles are shaped like they are. One of my complaints with other cinches I have is that the part cushioning the buckle from the horse always tweaks off to the side after riding, causing uneven protection from the buckle. With this buckle being narrower at the top it is harder for the cinch covering to shift and I don't have to keep tweaking it to keep it straight. It looks great on my new filly and I feel confident it is going to give her the comfort she needs. ... show more

Professional's Choice never fails to disappoint. Their products are fantastic. I love these fleece cinches; they are soft for the horses, clean really easy, and are at a reasonable price (in comparison to others). The buckle-system comes off of the fleece (via Velcro), making it super easy to clean. The roller bar on the "on" side of the cinch makes it easier to cinch the saddle, and the overlapping fleece keeps the metal from rubbing the sides of the horse. My first fleece cinch has lasted for close to 3 years, and I'm still using it without a problem ... show more
