I've had this efile now for about 2 years. I typically use it with hard gel. It is definitely not cheap, but I do think I would re-purchase rather than buying a professional efile at this point. I am not a professional and only use it on myself, and sometimes friends. I do fills about 1x per month. For personal use, it holds charge forever. I think I've only charged it about 4 times. I bought different bits to use with it, but the efile itself is smooth, quiet, the hand piece is slender, has a nice weight to it, and easy to hold. I bought this drill in July of 2022. It’s strong enough to handle tough jobs like acrylic and hard gel removal. It has a good weight to it as well. I love the long-lasting battery. I have been using it constantly in my salon. It just started having issues after a year. The company is sending me a replacement drill free of charge which is great. Lavinda responds quickly and helped me out w/ all of my concerns. I have also purchased their gel lamps and they are worth it. Great value overall. ... show more

This nail drill is amazing! Well worth the price! Now it is a heavier wand for the drill attachment, but I like the weight because it is more comfortable to hold and feels more professional. Easy to clean, and I love how portable it is! The color is beautiful and the case that comes with it is very nice. Bits are a little basic, but I have other bits as well, so it wasn’t a big deal. Biggest plus is that it’s incredibly quiet! Full speed and you can barely hear it! Even when you grind down on hard acrylics and gels it’s quiet! Overall, this is a great drill! ... show more

***UPDATE | Purchased Oct 2020, Updated review to 1 star Feb 2022*** This was used as a backup machine, which means very little use. Maybe total of an hour runtime for the month. The finish is super scratched up and looking horrible. Also, it's no longer running. Nothing seems loose, never been near water, wasn't abused. Just stopped working. For the price, I don't recommend this. ************************************************* Pros: Machine looks pretty, good build quality, charges FAST and battery holds an amazing charge. Cons: Not as quiet as I thought it would be for a brushless motor. It's only slightly quieter than the cheaper $40 machines, and about same as my Kupas. The MOST ANNOYING thing about this and the reason why I wouldn't recommend it is how there's a delay when first turning it on. You have to wait 2-3 seconds before it actually runs. There also doesn't seem to have enough torque. Settings 15 or below, it'll bog down as soon as the drill bit has contact with client's nails. But the startup delay is a deal breaker. I won't be returning as it's a backup machine, but if you're planning on using it as a primary please be aware of that dreadful delay. ... show more

Been a pro Nail Tech for over 40 years. Have used many efiles... this is a nice machine for the money. I like the screen. It shows when your battery is fully charged, and shows what position your in: forward or reverse. And of course shows the RPM's your using. Its quiet as heck. And while I'm use to pop in, pop out bit changing... changing the bits on this efile is super easy and self explanatory. My only REAL problem with it is, it will fall over if you're not paying attention to the cord distance. Its heavy, sure, and stable while standing. But the slightest pull on the cord and down it goes. Which is not good for the machine, and could also crack the screen. So I have to keep it laid down while using it, until I can figure out a way to prevent it from tipping over when upright. I'm really happy with my purchase... the bits that came with it are cheap and useless. But I didn't buy for the bits, so no worries there. This efile is great for beginners and pros and anyone in between. And comes in the cutest travel case. :) On a professional note... If you are not certified in using an electric file, I strongly recommend you take a one day class. Any efile can cause irreparable damage to nails. Also, efiles should never be used on natural nails, unless you are using a bit that was specifically designed for natural nails. Even then, keep your RPMs at 15000 or less. I normally don’t write reviews but I have to attempt to stop anyone from purchasing this. I bought it and everything was great worked well, all 4 times I used it. The return by date passed by one day and I contacted Amazon they had. The absolute worst customer service which is odd to be honest. I paid a lot of money for a drill I can’t use more than 4 times!! It worked great when it worked!! I am so disappointed and I don’t have the money to replace it now. Such a shame!! ... show more

I own a mani pro passport, and this drill is more than equal to it’s quality. I absolutely am in love with the color. The hand piece is lightweight, and very sturdy. The motor vibration is low, and the sound is minimal. I am a licensed Cosmetologist/Nail technichian , in my opinion this is a drill you can trust and appreciate. For a newbie Nail tech/Manicurist work through a cheap drill (40-60$) to become confident, then move up to this one. Not everyone can afford a mani pro (400$ average). This drill to me beat my mani pro hands down. Also with the inflation prices on the lesser priced drills ( go to Aliexpress, save $). This drill has a new brushless motor, and us relatively the same price through Aliexpress. I say all of this to say, the average drill has been inflated from their 30$ worth to almost $100, if you are going to waste that money you should add another 75$ (175$ total) and purchase this one. ... show more
