There are two posts for the front and two for the rear and they for some reason are extremely different in length. Got em for my slash because I wanted to put 2.8 tires on it and I maxed out the front and it wasn’t quite long enough and the rear I had set to where I wanted and the posts stuck through the bottom so far that they hit the camber links when the suspension was compressed so I had to cut them. After having set the posts and realizing I still was having issues with tire rub and the center of gravity being too high I decided to get a new J-Concepts body with wider wheel wells that allowed me to lower the posts. Then I decided to put the longer posts in the front because there was more room for the bottom of the posts to stick through so I didn’t have to cut them as short when I had to shorten them again. I get that the rear body posts need to be long because of SUV body’s where you need the extra length but I don’t understand why the fronts are so short. Besides the issue with the front posts I like the design of the caps replacing clips. Clips can rip through the body and these caps have more contact area spreading the stress area on the body which will keep the body from cracking. They also tighten all the way down to eliminate the noise of the body rattling on the body posts. All they need to do is lengthen the front posts and they would be great. The caps also may not agree with all bodys. I had to drill the holes a millimeter or two inward in the rear of the j concepts BAJR body or a ridge in the body would have gotten in the way of the cap being able to be screwed in. ... show more

Ordered this product because i wanted to use the traxxas raptor body on my slash 4 x 4. Works well, front mounts are very flexiable. Have not had any issues besides a lost thumb screw. If you do order this product. Make sure that you re-tighten the top thumb pieces every 5 to 10 mins during runs. Rate/respond ... show more
