I have found deals to be able to try all the proline treads for this truck. Both the badlands. These are by far my favorite. If your not into big air. They don't balloon much. They do however just glue your truck to the road. I can't make it flip while turning sharp. I try. Nad they have side bite on turns. The others have there purpose, but these are for straight traction. Maybe letting rookies drive your truck. Feel confident they won't wreck much. ... show more

    • Great tires to stabilize your Maxx
Bought these for my Maxx to replace the stock tires. They are a little wider and just a hair taller than the rock tires. The good: these don’t balloon nearly as much as the stock tires and make the car more stable in high speed runs. The car flips less on smooth surfaces like a road, and tends to slide rather than flip. Much more durable than the stock, haven’t had to repair the glued tire bead after half a dozen hard outings. The bad: These tires have noticeably less traction than the stock tires especially on smooth surfaces. (Hence the reduced flipping). While these are slightly heavier than stock, I seem to have less air control. I did get some cogging with these tires and the stock gearing. I went to a 20/50 gearing and everything was great. In general, the car acts much more tame and stable with these tires. It doesn’t wheelie at top speed, flip easily in corners etc. If I’m going going to turn the controller over to my kids or a less experienced driver, these will be on the car. If I’m driving the car and want to push it to the edge, I prefer the stock tires. As for the tires themselves, they are very high quality and robust. It would be nice if they had a little more traction on smooth surfaces. ... show more

Really good I would buy them again the adapter is a pain but you have to make sure you put all the screws on each tire

Great tires. 5.6 inches tall. I put them on my Arrma big rock V3 crew cab. Had to install 17mm adapters to fit them and dropped pinion down to 13t, in which I got on amazon as well. Good on road and beat off road. It changed the big rock so much, it's like a different truck!

    • Blew the glue bead in first 10 minutes
The tires fit the Traxxas MAXX well. Slightly bigger than the stock tires. They look more like a low profile which isn’t very appealing on a monster truck. Blew the glued bead in the first 10 minutes of running. Really wish pro line would make this belted like the hp
