I have previously purchased 2 screens of another brand. I made the mistake of assuming these would be built the same since they looked the same in the pics. The other brand uses powder coated aluminum for the frame. this one is painted steel and will certainly rust at some point. The quality of wood and it's finish is also not as good as the Enclo brand. Unfortunately Enclo didn't make the screen in the size I needed.

This privacy fence is a really quick way to gain privacy without a pricey install or a ton of digging. The product comes broken down with 4 posts, 4 stakes, all the wood slats, wood separators, and hardware. You'll need a screwdriver or drill to complete. To assemble it's as simple as sliding a hole-d plank between 2 of the posts and secure with included screws. From there, you alternate wood spacer and hole-less planks until you only have space left for one more plank (with holes) to be secured at the top. Then put the post caps on, and you're golden. There are a couple ways you can put the individual panels together (straight, corner) and the kit includes flat brackets to connect them securely. I'd rate it higher if the stain on the slats was applied better. There are areas where the sawdust left from the sanding process was left on the boards through staining and falls off leaving unstained spots behind.

There is a space space next to the driveway where we tend to store garden tools and equipment. It's starting to pile up and was visible from the road, so this little divider was the perfect thing to hide it from view. In the picture you can see that I parked our riding lawn mower in front of it for scale. It's quite sizeable, but best of all it is sleek and modern looking. Assembly was pretty easy, but does take a little bit of patience. It will probably take about 20 minutes to put it together. I have these next to each other, but it's also possible to connect them in an l shape if that's what you prefer. The wood itself does have a finish on it so that it will resist rain and the elements being outdoors. That's very helpful, especially here in Florida where in the summertime it will rain a lot. The quality of these is good. They have long stakes that will go into the ground and keep them upright. You will definitely need a mallet for that I haven't decided if I want to get any more of these, but I'm definitely considering it. Since my house also happens to have horizontal siding, this actually complements the look of the house. In addition, buying this is actually cheaper than attempting to build it myself with the raw materials. And best of all everything will look nice and matching, clean and tidy.

This product looked pretty good overall. However, the grooves were not cut wide enough for the panels to slide into place. We had to use force to get everything together. Also, the stakes that are provided broke immediately after hammering them into the ground. One post actually split in half. Definitely won't be buying again, or recommending.

The screen goes together quickly, and also goes into the ground nicely. NOTE: If you have very rocky soil, you'll have your own solution to driving in the stakes. I use a 3 foot length of rebar and a sledge hammer to pound it into the ground about 4 inches. That still allows you to pull it out of the ground and insert the screen and stakes into the ground. If you have a large older heat pump, this may not completely screen it from the rest of the yard. (I purchased it for screening off an area between the house and storage shed) This screen is nicely constructed, and will hide gas meters.
