Having had a taste of the bottled Prime when it was available at the PX in Germany, I was hooked. BUT, it's almost never in stock. Amazon to the rescue. The powder sticks are cheaper than the bottles, easier to ship or pack when traveling, and, in my opinion, taste identical to the corresponding bottled flavors, or at least as good. And while I always mix the powder with the recommended 16 oz. of water, it could easily be stretched to 20 oz. without sacrificing the flavor. While some decry the hype, I find both the taste and the healthier ingredients superior to Gatorade or Powerade. And don't confuse the Prime hydration drink with the Prime energy drink. Omg. I did the 16oz suggest water and the flavor was way to strong. But I also used cold bottled water. Which after trying a million different drink the stuff sometimes does not dissolve like it's supposed to unless it's room temperature. The flavor for a hydration drink is amazing. Given they all taste odd or salty. But these were much better then almost all the powder sticks I've tried. But the flavor doesn't taste the same as the bottled drink. That said it's no where near the price either. So for a fussy sick people who need hydration I'd say it's so much better then the alternative. But if your trying to get the flavor of the prime bottled ice pop it's off a bit. ... show more

My kids were getting the coveted bottles of these from friends in goody bags. Yet, I was concerned for the amount of caffeine and know they aren’t designed for kids. So I saw these, and was interested mainly because they are for hydration as opposed to energy- but the same flavors everyone loves. So I tried it- made one pack in my large soda stream bottle. I made it with about 17oz of water- too sweet for me- so I added more to prolly between 20-24oz and it was delicious! The flavor ice pop is spot on! My kids loved it too! These are nice options to keep on hand to make when needed - my husband is looking forward to making one with citron vodka too! 😛 ... show more

my husband uses hydration packs to supplement his water due to his high output ileostomy and kidney function - he's always in a form of dehydration. he recently went into renal failure and they've cut him off from potassium and since there is potassium in this we can't use it.

Loved the coconut mixture . My last order says Ice pop . Wanted coconut. I wonder how it taste I also add small mixture to container of energy mix . We like the taste.

No rain in sight. Close to 100 degrees almost daily here in Louisiana. This solved a problem for me worrying about husband doing yard work with just plain water. He says he feels “refreshed” after drinking one. Great solution!
