This was a last minute purchase for our daughter wanting to go to a semi formal dance for school with only a few days notice. It was very flattering to her. We did have to make some last minute alterations to take the size down because we did not realize the back was such stretchy material, so when we bought it as a size large we could has easily taken it to a medium. (That’s the only reason for the 4stars, is it would have been helpful to know the back stretched) But we made it work. The length is nice for her height (5’4). The fabric is great. I was worried it would be too thin but it was perfect. I did spend a lot of time steaming out the wrinkles, but that’s to be expected with the fabric and being folded to package and send. It arrived on time. And saved the day since we were tight on a budget and didn’t want to spend 100$ or more on a dress. It was definitely worth the money spent.

This dress is gorgeous online. The fit! The color! LOVE! Not so much in real life. I purchased a M (5'7", 145 lbs) and it was terrible. Absolutely no structure so it just kind of hung on me. Not flattering anywhere. Returned immediately. Side note... I did LOVE the pockets.

There are things I really like about this dress and there are 3 things that made me give it only 3 stars. The things I like: The dress is pretty and it flows around you as you walk. The dress fits well. I wear a size 20 normally so I ordered a 20. It fit as expected. I'm 5'10" and the dress was the perfect length. I love love love the pockets and the inner liner keeps the dress from being see though. The things I didn't like: As you can see in the photo the front of the dress is a slightly different color than the back of the dress. It's not terrible mismatch but it's enough that it would bug me. The second thing is the seam around the waist and the side seams. I don't think I have sensitive skin but the seam connecting the top to the skirt and the skirt side seams were really itchy to me. With its spaghetti straps I'm not sure I could find a slip to wear with it so the seams wouldn't drive me crazy. My last reason is the zipper. Mine hung up on the seam where the top meets the skirt and it took some effort to get the zipper past that point. I would have also liked a hook and eye at the top of the zipper for ease of zipping and security so it couldn't unzip while wearing.

This dress is a pretty pink. For the positives - I think it will work well for a summer tea, sorority function, wedding event, etc. It has pockets and at the bottom it flows nicely. It is lined. It will work well with strappy sandals that are high, and since it is long and flowing, it will look cute with flat shoes as well. I got the extra large. I am 5’9”,185 pounds and a 40 D cup. If you have a smaller waist, it may be slightly loose in the waist area as it is loose for me. If you are closer to a C you might want to consider the smaller size. The bustier top is full coverage with an elastic back and adjustable straps. Be prepared- you may need to “work with it” to get the folds in the top to lie flat down well. It’s critical to get the right size in this because I don’t think putting a belt on it to cinch the waste will look good. However, it may look really pretty with a scarf tied around the waist that picks up the pink, so that’s an idea! There are many more positives than negatives with this dress, which is why I gave it a four. I think that the folded bustier section of the dress at the top is a positive if you want to accentuate that area! From my perspective, the negatives are the hard wrinkles and the material isn’t really soft. It would have been phenomenal in a softer sheer fabric. It feels like the “under fabric” on some formal dresses. This came out of the packaging very “hard” wrinkled so you will definitely need to steam it or use a light iron to get it to flow without the wrinkles. I have not tried to wash it, and I don’t think I will; I would suggest dry cleaning. For the price, if you need a pink flowing dress and you can get the top in order, it is a decent option.!
