I really wanted this dress to fit me, it is so cute in person with a slight silk feel to it. However, these 40 double D’s and a protruding stomach did not fit this dress. I really need it in an XXL and the largest size they had was an XL, I thought I would try it anyway. Didn’t work for my 190 pound body. Needless to say I had to send it back.

I love this dress. It's light and airy and fit true to size. I purchased the more open style top in black, red, and navy. Since the material is light, a slip will be needed underneath so it's not see through in bright light.

I bought this dark grey/black dress for my daughters wedding day. It was so cute and I got tons of compliments. When we arrived at the church and I went to sign as witness, I noticed that my hands were coated with a blackish blue tint. I went to wash my hands and noticed it went all up my arms as well. It wouldn’t wash off with soap and water so I had to use hand sanitizer to scrub it off. As I went through the day they just kept getting covered with black what looked like ink. My white and gold wedding nails all along the tips were turning black. I had to help my daughter do up her white buttons on the back of her dress with black ink stained fingers. Throughout the day I probably washed my hands 10 times trying to get them clean. When I got home and took off the dress, my arms and undergarments were all stained with that same black/blue ink. I did run it through the washer and dryer and it still turned my hands black. Beware!

Update - I was so wrong about this dress, thankfully! Initially, I was concerned about the chemical smell it had out of the bag, but after one wash it was completely fine. I was also concerned about the material easily wrinkling, and I only iron clothes unless I absolutely must. This dress comes out of the dryer wrinkle free and ready to wear. One of my favorite Amazon finds. Not my favorite Amazon dress, but still nice. The elastic waist is comfortable, length is perfect, attractive color, lightweight fabric for summer. Out of the bag it has a slight chemical smell and is very wrinkly so will definitely need to be washed before wearing. I haven’t washed it yet, hopefully it’s not the type of material that needs ironing every time. The tie collar is quite floppy and doesn’t exactly lay right around my neck. Size - I’m 5’4” 130 lbs and ordered the S, it’s a flattering fit. Overall, it’s ok. There are nicer dresses to buy from Amazon in the same price range.

I love the style of this dress as well as the color. However, I don't like to put on fabrics that make me feel hot and sticky in the warm weather. This polyester dress would be very uncomfortable to wear. Unlike cotton or silk, polyester does not breathe and can even take on an unpleasant odor in the heat. One of my pet peeves about shopping online is that some vendors list their items with inaccurate descriptions such as "cotton" when the dress is actually NOT cotton. This causes unnecessary returns and waste of time to buyer and the seller. I wish the content descriptions would be factual and accurate so we could rely on them when ordering. I would not mind paying a bit more for better fabric. Some of the styles are adorable but the fabric is generally the deal-breaker.
