I'm about 5'6", 135 pounds and bought a medium, but the elastic waist is at least 2-3 inches above my natural waist which felt uncomfortable to me. For that reason I am returning it. Otherwise it is a beautiful dress. It is a medium thickness fabric and although unlined is not see-through. The fabric is polyester so I think it would be wrinkle resistant. The quality seems good.     • Cute dress but a got a blood stained return

The dress itself is very cute and flowy- great material and color... I am busty and it is low cut in the front but it can be turned around to the back for more fabric upfront... I upsized to a Large, turned it around and it way fit better...NOTE: I originally ordered a medium a but the top was revealing so I turned it around per other reviewers. While spinning around in all of that fabric I noticed a spot on it so I took it off. I was horrified to see dried blood (obvious period blood) on the dress. It had been returned, Amazon had repackaged it (if you ever get a clear package with a green stripe it has been returned) without looking at it and sent it to me... I was disgusted and immediately sent it back with a note saying there was blood on the dress so someone else hopefully not get it delivered to them... ... show more
