I have enjoyed wearing this summer dress. It’s nice and not hot. The exterior is 100% cotton. It has a comfortable elastic waist, and it’s not too short. Hits me a few inches above the knees and I’m 5’5” this dress can be worn casually or dressed up. I got the black and it’s beautiful.

I have a few dresses from PRETTYGARDEN that I love, so I thought I’d give this one a chance. It’s very cute and the length is nice…but the middle elastic is pretty tight to the point where it is a bit uncomfortable. The dress has a few layers of material, which makes it heavy and hot.

- Ok, so it's not 100% cotton BUT it's good - I wore all day on a hot (87 degree) day & it was very comfortable. - Some non-cotton clothes can be so hot, but this dress isn't like that. Yay. - SIZING: True to Size -- I wear both Small & Med in dresses depending on the shape & style of dress. This dress shape w/ nipped in waist, I chose a Small. Fits well. I'd say it's = US 4-6. If you are very buxom then maybe size up to a Medium) Length is also good - not too short on 5'5 height. Hits above knee, maybe 2/3 of the way down between waist & knees - I rolled the sleeves to make it look more daytime. - Flattering A-line shape - COLOR: I ordered Black which has a thin lining too. Can't speak for lighter colors - if they have any see thru since dress & lining are thin - but for summer, thin fabric is good! - Recommend this dress :)

Very cute dress and was very excited once it arrived, but the lining is 100% polyester. I can't wear polyester in the summer, it makes me sweat like crazy. Sad to have to send it back.
