I bought an xl when I’m usually a very comfortable LG. I only ever order XL when I want an oversized look. LG is usually appropriately roomy for my style, as I don’t prefer form-fitted clothing. I had hoped the XL would be roomier than it is. I would send back for a 2XL if I didn’t have such petite shoulders. Not as flattering as it looks on the model, but I still like it enough to keep it. I’m busty- an XL fits just well enough without visual pull, but certainly not roomy.

I I am 5’4 200 pounds but don’t look it. I do however have a wide rib cage. I wear an do in this dress and thought I’d be a xxl. Fits perfectly. I can wear with flats or heel and it’s not too long! Sun he’s waist but doesn’t fit tight on stomach ! Love love love !

Runs a bit small. Amazon recommended a size large but ordered an XL. Fit great, large would've been too small. Very comfortable on. Will need a slip under as it could be see through in the sunlight.

I love the look of this dress. And I like that it's light but not see-through. But the sizing is strange for something that looks like it should be flowy. I am pear shaped and always need to buy dresses to fit my hips. This means the top is usually a little big on me and I expect that. I usually get dresses with more flowy skirts for this reason as they are more forgiving on large hips. I though that's what this dress was, based on the pictures. I ordered a medium by mistake first. Tried it on anyway and as expected, the hips were a bit tight while the top was almost perfect. I sent it back and ordered a large, which is my usual size. But the hips were still too tight and the top significantly looser. I could have ordered another size up but I didn't because the top would probably just fall off! It feels like this dress was made for skinny hips and giant chests. Since I loved it otherwise, I still kept it but I'm going to have to take it to a tailor.
