The dress is cute and fits nice. There is a built-in slip so it is not see-through at all. The dress has snap in the chest area however it does not stay closed. You will have to stitch it if you want it to stay closed. The reason for my three stars is the dress I received has a large tear in the seam. I did not realize it until I went to steam and press it. This dress fits beautifully. It is extremely flattering on my hourglass body shape. The cut of it hits in between my lower calves and ankles. I’m 5’7” tall. I don’t think it has a lot of versatility. It’s most appropriate worn as a church dress. Although its fabric has a lot of sheerness, the lining that comes with it compensates for that. Despite it having a comfortable lining, I recommend wearing a slip underneath it to prevent it from riding up and clinging. The slip will also protect the fabric so the dress lasts for years.
