Purchased for a good friend’s wedding and it did the job great! The material was a sleek and soft satin and did NOT show sweat stains (coming from someone who sat in a chapel with no A/C and wooden pews for over an hour then danced her butt off at the reception). I could dance in it with no issue of indecency or having to worry about the dress ripping (including getting low as if I was in apple-bottom jeans, wearing boots with fur). I bought a size large as a 10/12 gal and it had plenty of space in the booty and tummy. The top was a little large/baggy (which is normally never an issue as a bigger chested girl) and I did end up taking in the neck space some to fit better, but overall a great dress and great value.

Wow. Every now and then, I get pleasantly surprised on Amazon. I am 60, 5'5" and 150 lbs. a solid size 10 or medium. I was looking for a dress to wear to a wedding and some that I looked at were in the $200-$300 range. I was rather reluctant about purchasing a dress in that price range for a semi formal event because it isn't my child getting married, lol, but I also didn't want something that looked cheap. I took a chance and got this dress in the deep blue color, it is like a dark peacock color, and it is gorgeous. Very flattering. I will pair with gold Vince Camuto sandals and a gold purse and maybe get a light silk scarf for the church. I have gained a bit recently in my tummy. This dress in a medium worked very nicely to hide that and also flatter my build. I am purchasing the same dress in the brown color as I am taking a cruise next fall and I think it would work nicely for formal night.

The material doesn’t look the same, and the color is a bit off. The neck is really big and doesn’t look like it does on the model. Additionally, the part at the stomach where it goes from floofed to fitted looks good on the model, however, on the actual dress, it is just a piece of elastic and it isn’t very secure. Some people may prefer the elastic band because it creates a bit more wiggle room for size and could be really nice. It is definitely comfy! I ordered a small (Bust: 36”, Waist: 26”, Hips: 36”) and as you can see from the photos, it wasn’t that small. It had no shape to it naturally and it looked very unflattering. I also include photos of how it *could* look if altered. However, it was a $42 dress so I didn’t want to mess with the materials through alterations. The company was very kind and allowed me to return the dress, and I have had no problem with them. They are a good a trustworthy company. The dress itself isn’t even that horrendously off from the ad, but it wasn’t what I was looking for. I am a bridesmaid and, while it might be cute for a night out, it didn’t seem elegant enough in person to be suitable as a bridesmaids dress.

The dress is very faded, and is not what is shown in the advertisement. It is very basic and I am very disappointed. Don't waste your money. Very flimsy and easily torn.

Ordered the silvery blue color which is gorgeous. The dress is very flowy and super comfortable (no zipper, just 3 buttons at the neck line). For the price, it was made very well however A little excess in the bust area. Made me look a little too busty which I didn't care for. (I am not large there) It is a great choice for anyone who wants to look a little larger in the top area, but overall the dress is beautiful and perfect for a mother-of-the-bride, bridesmaid, or wedding guest
