I wear a size 6 in women's pants and ordered this in a size small. It does fit true to size on me. However, I do have another PrettyGarden dress in a medium and it's more forgiving of my aging-mom-of-twins body! lol That said, I personally do suggest buying your proper size and wearing shapewear if you prefer because of the strapless element of this dress. The top of the dress has a silicone/rubbery band to help keep it in place because the dress is strapless. I was pretty impressed with the functionality of to be honest. It helped the dress stay exactly where it is supposed to be. So, know that if your "girls" need some support, a strapless bra will be a must if you don't want to discount the classiness of the dress. The review prompts are asking me about stretchiness, style, quality, and color: *Stretchiness - this dress has quite a bit. I pulled it up over my hips without issue or hearing that scary *POP* of threads! lol *Style - Exactly as pictured with a small exception. The drape over the chest is a bit smaller than shown. Otherwise, the dress is almost a mermaid style. The little sleeves aren't really made to be worn up like straps but if you hate your shoulders, you could pull them up & spread them out on your shoulders. They would only hit just over the knob of your shoulder so a bra with straps may still be a challenge. *Quality - This is my 3rd PrettyGarden dress and the quality is excellent across all of them. No loose threads or crooked hems. They're also pretty consistent size-wise. *Color - exactly as pictured. I ordered the purple flower design and it's vibrant without being over the top. We travel to tropical all-inclusives in Mexico or Jamaica a couple times per year and this dress will be perfect for dinners or for summer weddings. ... show more
