Looks a little retro. I thought little house on prairie at first. But it is really tasteful and sometimes a longer summer dress is classy. I can wear this to a garden party, graduation or church. This is a pretty dress, but the parts that could be better are the sleeves (just slightly longer would be more flattering on my less-than-youthful upper arms). Secondly, I don't like the very deep uneven hemline. The photo description did not adequately show how deep the dip of the back really is. I don't love this but shortening it is not practical because of the fabric and hem style (shirttail hem). On the positive side, the fabric is flowing polyester, and the shirred, stretchy waist makes it easy to fit for various sizes. It will be a great summer dress.

I used this for my daughters 1st communion, I carry all my weight in the belly and back have big o back fat rolls, I am also very short, 4,10 and weight is @142lbs chest is 38DD I purchased the Medium and it was great fit for me. This is my second one I also have this dress in green. I did use a tank top under for modesty in the chest area. Didnt use shapewear and it was fine.

This is a very pretty, flattering dress. But the first one I ordered arrived damaged. One if the buttons was broken, not a loose thread, the actual plastic u-shaped piece that attaches the button to the dress was broken off of the back of the bitton - so it is not something that I could have repaired. I returned that dress and opted for a replacement over a refund because I really so like the dress. The second dress arrived with 2 broken buttons. I'm really irritated with having to go through the hassle of returning these dresses. Where is the quality control? I'll get one more replacement ordered but at this point, the back and forth shipping costs alone have to have affected the bottom line for this company. I can't believe they don't have anyone available to check the dress and make sure I get one that isn't damaged.

I needed a dress for my niece’s outdoor wedding. I ordered five dresses from various sites, visited all the local stores, and couldn’t find anything that didn’t make me feel like a dumpy old cow. I don’t like most styles for my age group (50s), and I don’t want to look like I’m trying to be 20. I think this dress’s classic lines are good for all age groups. I am a size 12, and I ordered the Large. Yaaaay, I found my dress! It’s so pretty and flowy, and I love that the lining means I don’t have to wear a slip. The high-low hemline is flattering, and it hides my menopause tummy. For me the neckline is too low, but a cami bra will fix that. One thing I didn’t care for were the puffed sleeves. They’re not too poofy, nor was the elastic too tight, but because the fabric has no give every time I’d move my arms they rode up. I’m very tactile so I did not like that feeling at all. I didn’t want to spend the day yanking my sleeves down. I have a friend who is an amazing seamstress, and she “depuffed” them for me. The elastic wasn’t sewn down so all she had to do was remove it and then add a small hem. They are much more flattering now! They now have a light bell shape and hang nicely. Very happy with this dress!

I saw mixed reviews--some saying they loved it, some saying it was made weird. So, I took a chance. I really wanted to love this. It's light-weight, comfortable, cute pattern, but the top is awkward. It's made too big--as in too long for an average-sized torso and too big in the chest. Not very flattering. Guess I got one of the bad ones...
