First of all, I am 57 and worried this might be "too youthful" for me - but no! This dress is absolutely stunning! I am hourglass shaped, 5'7 155 and wear a size 10 or 12 in a skirt or pants. I thought about getting a large - but at the last moment selected a medium. It fit perfectly! Very forgiving in all the right places - flutter sleeves, tie at the waist for definition (and the waist isn't too high like other dresses on here!), layered ruffles, but not frumpy - the slit makes it feel updated and modern. Some info - yes, it wrinkles, but is very easy to iron using steam setting. I ironed it on the bed at the hotel in 10 mins, no problem. The waist is a little fitted, so you're likely putting this on over your head (just for gals who like to step into a dress). I had no problem with the snap coming open. It is slightly low cut, but you could always layer something underneath to fill in the "v." There is a liner, so if the dress blows open a little, no worries at all, you're covered to just above the knee. I was walking down a boardwalk to the wedding ceremony and had many compliments - I think this dress is really flattering and flows nicely as your walking! The dress is flowy, like the store photos show, BUT not light chiffon, as it may appear - it has some substance to it. I was at an outdoor wedding in a forest where it started at 75 degrees and cooled off in the evening - it was perfect for this event, I threw on a wrap. If it was 90 outside, this dress would be heavy and hot. As for the color - this is the gray blue. Sometimes it looks darker or lighter, depending on the light. I'm getting a few more in different colors! Hope this helps with your decision.

Ok I’ve read several reviews where folks complained about this dress! I bought it in black for my husbands Moms funeral. He actually picked it out himself . So it fits wonderful without being too flimsy. I was actually shocked with how well the dress was made! The material yes holds wrinkles more but it lays perfectly to you and moves every time you do! It just flows naturally. The material is also thick enough you don’t need a slip if ya don’t want one. I wear pantaloons short ones instead anyway with my dresses.Just steam it before ya wear it! I received numerous compliments on the dress. I wore a choker of pearls with a silk black tie closure with the dress. It’s quite long in the back and gives us older ladies the proper coverage in the front without us looking so old! It’s hard finding a beautiful dress as you age without looking frumpy!! So I was really pleased with how it wore, stood up in the heat of summer, and COST!! The cost is always my first thing to look at. It’s worth every Penny! So now I’ve ordered it in the Cobalt!! Don’t take my word for it order try it on and feel the movement for yourself. The button everyone is griping about is a tiny snap! It’s there so your boobs will look good without falling out😎

This dress was beautiful. I got it for a wedding and it worked. I have a bigger chest so the button on it I was afraid was t going to work but it covered the girls beautifully. The material is very breathable and very fitting, definitely able to be thrown is the washer with normal clothes.

The dress was very pretty, flowed well, and was easy to breathe in, but the chest area is held together by a button that popped open MANY times. Very awkward in a public setting. Will need to sew together or attach a different button/holding mechanism, but for ladies that cant sew there wouldnt be a lot of options. Overall very cute and i got a lot of compliments, but very awkward to wear and had me always panicked.

I bought this dress for my 14 year old daughter to wear on formal night on a cruise. This is a very flattering dress and looked great on her. My daughter said it was very comfortable, and she loves how flowy it is. She is sensitive to textures and this didn't bother her. She has worn it a few additional times, as it works for really well for multiple occasions.

I usually wear an XL so I got an XL. But should have taken into account my recent 20lb weight loss (I'm now 5'5", 180lbs) and probably should have ordered a large. The XL dress is a little big (you can see that in the chest pleats). But I would order this again. It was comfortable, lightweight, washed & ironed very well and stayed looking nice all night even in almost 100 degree weather. Color was vibrant and exactly what I wanted.

This is a very feminine dress. The ruffled neckline and hem are very pretty and the fabric flows nicely. The neck was a little low for my taste, but we could have pinned it. This was purchased as an option for a Homecoming dress, and although we really liked it, it wasn't quite formal enough for the occasion.
