This dress is very well made. The dress doesn’t have a zipper, it has smocking in the back of the dress. It’s very beautiful and will make a beautiful choice for a summer wedding or a dress for vacation. Unfortunately I had to return this dress because tried a smaller size than I usually wear and it was much too tight. The straps were too wide for petite narrow shoulders. Unfortunately I don’t feel ordering a dress in a larger size would make a difference in how the straps fit. ... show more

For starters, the dress is well made and even lined. It is really cute with a short cardigan sweater, which is how I wear it. The top isn't the best-fitting. I think it's a little too loose and structure-less. It needs some kind of elastic for shape. However, the sweater transforms it and I get lots of compliments on the dress. It’s a cute dress, but I’m not sure if I’m going to keep this one yet. It’s not as flowy on the bottom as I was hoping it would be. The top fits kind of funny, too. The color is a more mellow yellow than it appears on the screen, which is not necessarily a bad thing. With the right accessories, you can make this work from spring to fall. It’s very lightweight, but kind of hard to put on because there is no zipper and the material doesn’t give very much. If you’re a slim person without much of a chest or wide hips, you could probably make this work well. I am absolutely in love with this dress! I chose the coffee gingham color after doing my color season analysis, and it truly complements my skin tone beautifully — my sister-in-law even said I looked cute in it! 😄 What I love most is how modest and elegant it is, while still being super comfortable. The fabric feels great for summer, and yes, it has pockets — which is always a win! I often throw on a denim jacket like in my photo, and it instantly looks put together whether I’m headed to church, running errands, or meeting friends for a social event. This is a very comfortable and easy to wear sundress. I am also a tall girl and it is a good length on me. I wear anywhere from 16-20 in pants sizes depending on brand and the xxl fit great. I consistently get compliments on the dress when I wear it. I got the blue and I have paired it with a black knit cardigan and also a denim jacket and both work! I usually wear sneaker with it. I have machine washed and dried it several times at this point - no issues. It also packs without wrinkling too badly. It is lightweight but has extra lining around the bust area. There is no extra stretch to the fabric. Super great value considering that I have worn it so much at this point. The only drawback is that since I have a larger bust area, most dress straps will slide off my shoulders for me because my bust is what holds up the dress. I do not think that happens for most people. Since it is smocked in the back, I am still able to wear it comfortably! ... show more

I ordered 2 of these dresses.One in the navy blue and one in the green.Both a size large. The blue fit nicely and didn't have a lining, only in the bust area. The green was lined all the way down. The green was tighter in the bust area and the lining made the dress too poofy. I don't understand why one was lined but not the other. There is inconsistent sizing as well as pattern match up. I sent the green back . Cute dress, modest and light for summer. The navy was not see through and this dress really doesn't need to be lined on the bottom. I ordered the pink to see if that one will not be lined and hopefully fits like the navy blue one. Update, the pink was also lined and too tight. I returned it. ... show more
